Martin is very skilled. Top notch installer. Sometimes it's more about the installer than the tint. Excellent work on display here + he knows his product very well.
I see that man pumping a jug of OG decon soap I just ordered in the back. I would love to sit there do my job and get all of the information being splurged while doing so. Awesome
Def wouldn’t recommend this method as a beginner unless you like starting over. This dude was really good working everyday to acquire this level of craftsmanship. Good stuff.
as im building my window tinting and detailing business this pops up. nice! edit: and thank you asking so many of the same questions ive been wondering!
That looks like a right ballache of a job to do. I don't envy him, I'm guessing the best/easiest time to tint the front screen is when you are having a replacement and they can do it before it's fitted.
Used huper optik on my 7 series in Las Vegas and I’m watching this to find out if xpel is going to match what I had with huper, by far bar none the absolute BEST window tint I’ve ever had
Amazing work!, don’t wipe the paint 😂 , that was funny. Can’t imagine doing 5 cars, insane amount of time and under a typical garage...geez Niagara Falls, 😂. Great video 👍👌
I'm getting XPEL Prime XR Plus 70 on my 1991 Mazda B2600i Cab Plus as I type this. Front windshield, doors, cab plus windows and back glass. I need to as that thing has ALOT of clear glass on it. And I want it to look "stockish" looking instead of dark. Plus it will help that AC system work a little less hard.
Will he drive to Texas? lol It was very satisfying to watch this behind the scene. I have had XR Plus on my windshield in my previous car. About to to try Crystalline soon. Interesting to hear Crystalline is harder to shrink than XPEL. Hope my tint guy will be good like Martin here.
How much of a difference does the heat rejection tint make? I just got mine done and wanted to see how it was done. I haven't noticed much of a difference since it's been cold and rainy in CA. Got everything besides the sunroof done. Honestly watching this makes me want to learn how to tint and do PPF work, etc
18:50, would you get away with not putting a microfibre rope in between the windshield and the dash? My tiny guy didn't do that and it freaked me out that all the water is going under
@@LZ_Mobile_Tint Old comment, thanks for the reply! They also told me they have only had a problem with a CLA where a receiver for the keyless entry is right around the area under the rear windshield.
I have difficulty night driving and want to get Xpel Prime Plus at 55% for the side windows. I already have 70% on the windshield. What do you think of the 55% for me on a Jeep Cherokee?
@@Ojeramup12 Go 35% 45-55% is virtually no difference. Go see it in person, go to a shop and ask if they have any cars with 35%. I used to have 35% but I hated the feeling of still being distinguished in a car, people can still clearly see you. So i went 20% this time around.
oh i just watched it back and realised he's talking about the "dryer sheet" which I have no idea what that is. never heard of it before. wonder if we can get them here in Australia.
That front tool carrier/bumbag is making me very nervous.... it freaks me out because all I’m thinking is it’s hitting and scratching the paint.... but I’m anal.... 😄😩. However, he’s good.
Bryan Cardenas yes but dry shrinking side windows is rather pointless for the most part, the fingers to shrink are far easier than any windshield which is why they dry shrink windshield and back windows
That guy is a consumate professional. Quick, concise, educated answers. Tons of knowledge. Mad respect to guys like that.
“Don’t worry about wiping the paint, in other words DON’T wipe the paint” 😂🤣
lol
Im a window tinter and this was quite entertaining to watch. He nailed it in every way!. Great work.
10:56 - “Dang that hood feels freakin amazing” -Matt
Dual purpose: he can be your window tint guy and personal trainer
couldn't help but laugh at the guy in the background pumping decon soap slaving away while Matt's having fun
Great watching someone who really knows what he's doing!
3 day drive to Flordia from AZ may be worth it to have this guy tint my cars. I can't for the life of me find anyone who is OG level out here.
That guy is legit. Look forward to seeing the full job on the Corvette.

I swear it can be the simplest video as this from Matt and it can help with late night depression. Thank you
This guy is always donating money in other tinters stream. You hear Alligator window tint so much! Good to see this guy is as cool as he seems
heart is pumping seeing him do razors cuts on the car

Fantastic job alligator.
Damn, Martin really makes it seems easy.

Here because the model 3 tint video was so good I needed more...
Awesome video, looking to replace my front windshield tint.
Wish I had someone like you here in SLO California.
Awesome! Not for me on a windshield. Sunglasses 100% optically correct. Great video.
Solar Gard has a really bad "milky haze". I've always been a fan of Llumar. Supreme clarity and great heat reduction.
Did I dream about this video last night? Did I travel to the future? I am confused

Surprised the tint doesn’t pick up any lint from the towel on the dash.
Microfiber doesn't really shed in My experience, that's likely why he's uses it.

Does ceramic windshield tint affect a front mounted radar detector ?
nope
Correct!
This video was on a couple of days ago?
73henny unfortunately I made a mistake with the audio during export.
I like the line @ 5:20 ...."I tend to get a lot of cars."
The installer is a consummate professional. He needs a video like this with a professional reporter or just narrate it like Bob Ross.
Dirty is your daddy. Great video. Thank you
Crystalline is the shit! I love it!
I've had it a few times. I really don't like it.
Amazing work

It's pretty remarkable the difference. The main benefit is the wear and tear it reduces on your interior.
does your windsheild mirror your dashboard facing the sun? Mine does but its new.
Is this 70% or 80%?
70%
@@ObsessedGarage dang it... i ordered 80%
Randy Humphries is in Florida. One of the best tinters in the country
I’m also mobile. Been mobile for the past 10 years.
Amazing video!!!
He said the V-word...
I wonder what tint he recommends
What’s the lifespan of this?
So you don't have to shrink the film if it is going to be installed on a flat pane of glass?
No, you don't have to.
18:50, would you get away with not putting a microfibre rope in between the windshield and the dash? My tiny guy didn't do that and it freaked me out that all the water is going under
The shop I work at has never done it unless it’s a new charger you should be fine.

Alligator tint!!
I have difficulty night driving and want to get Xpel Prime Plus at 55% for the side windows. I already have 70% on the windshield. What do you think of the 55% for me on a Jeep Cherokee?
I think 55% is a bit too light. It won't do as much as I'd like during the day.

What happened? This is a reupload.
Harv the audio was messed up in the original upload
He did a great job. Knows his craft for sure. Oh I felt you cringe when he said the V word there a few times 😂
He does it by dragging that box across your polished CF mirror caps...
5:07 does he use fabric softener or did he mean to say baby shampoo??
oh i just watched it back and realised he's talking about the "dryer sheet" which I have no idea what that is. never heard of it before. wonder if we can get them here in Australia.
would closing the car and running the cabin air filter for a few minutes help reduce particles in the air? i wonder.

15% and 70% on windshield

Why not use a portable steamer? Its much gentle than a heat gun on the film that wont cause heat stress.
