I was lucky with this one and it went on fairly easily but in the past I've often had to hold it roughly in place with pliers and tap it in with a small hammer.

Buy yourself a milwaukee m12 stubby 3/8. You will be amazed what it can do.

It’s on my shopping list, that and an electric ratchet would save me so much time

Do you know the name of the second socket that you used here? I’ve not seen that type of bolt remover socket before. Good video! 👍

They’re just called a bolt extractor set. If you look on Amazon there’s loads of different brands but they all seem to be the same more or less.

I think I confused myself there because I went back to the first socket I used. I had a look and I can tell you they were made by Mac Allister but the labels long gone and I can’t find them anywhere online, sorry.

@@monkey-hut I’ve never seen those sockets before with the metal legs inside that you used . Maybe they’re discontinued. Thanks for getting back to me 👍

@@ianrimmer1968 I think they may have gone the same way as the Gator Grip sockets 😅 They seem to have been replaced with the twist type ones which, to be fair, do work a lot better.
