This is great news. I've been thinking about getting this for my folding knife collection. Do you recommend anything this easy to use for a serrated blade?
Is it able to reach the all the way to the end of the blade near the handle? Especially for kitchen knives? The round shape seems to leave a blind spot at the end of the blade.
Could you mod this? Drill in a bolt on the base that allows adjustment of the wood block so that despite different blade cross-section you 'match' the factory edge anyway?
Good question. I’m not entirely sure to be honest but it sounds doable. I won’t do that with mine as I’ll more than likely just use mine for kitchen knives with full flat grinds with 20 degree angles.

I would recommend the Work Sharp field sharpener for serrated blades. The ceramic rods are what you want for serrations.

Can u try it on a bayonet? I'm trying to get some akm bayonets sharpened.
The AKM bayonet also has a weird one sided edge
