It never ceases to amaze me how showering and using the toilet is obsolete in most ppl's van builds. If I can't have a bathroom in the van, I'm just not doing it. No public restroom toilets or showering for me! Yuck..

Seems to me, cutting the cabinet side panel horizontally in half, so the upper half could be removed for repairs would be useful.

What's the R-value of that insulation, seems like a great alternative to spray foam, did she ever think about using rigid foam boards? I assume the insulation she used is much, much cheaper than spray foam!
I don't know that it's a ton cheaper but I know it's a REALLY good r-value. I know it's better than foam board insulation as far as that goes. There's an episode somewhere where Mike talks about how using spray foam in a van is bad.

The van will look awesome when it is dun not that it does not look great now. I have a question for you but first i want to let you know a little about my self and my son. We turned a 2006 Honda Odyssey into a camper van full build so that we can start life on the road yes it is small but it will get us on the road plus we all ready had the van and we new it would be a lot smaller than we really wanted now that we will be going on the road permanent at the end of March of this year and we want to start looking at buses we want a bus that's about 30 feet long or shorter but our problem is will we be able to build 2 bedrooms in it . I know very little about buses and nothing about diesel engines but i do know how to work on cars and that covers wiring and everything else can you help us out with this problem.
