Nice work, Richard. You've come a long way mate and the van is looking really smart. Night and day compared to your old one. It's always interesting to see how other people do it. I built my camper in 2021 and decided to give it a makeover and make several changes earlier this year. I opted to remove my shower unit (massive ball ache) as I didn't think the usage justified the space. I really prefer showering at Pure Gym anywhere in the country or at a services/ campsite when available instead. When not available, I use a collapsible 5l bowl and fill it with warm water from the kettle and wash with soap and a flannel. I way prefer things now, so it'll be interesting to see what your thoughts are in 12 months. ATB mate.
Hi Just started watch your videos as just purchased a VW crafter, its already been fitted out inside, but there are a lot of things we would like to change. The water system and heating are already fitted for the kitchen sink, but I need to fit water into a wet room we have and I also have no waste tank. So question for you, what size waste tank did you fit in spare wheel carrier area and where can I purchase one. Thanks in advance for your help.
Good idea to always turn off the water pump while you are driving. The water pressure will change up and down while you are driving and can potentially cause the pump to trigger when you don't want, causing extra pressure.
I can't believe I had so many leaks hahaha
You DID want an indoor shower!! ;)
I like this guy, he's no messing straight to the point

Van is looking good mate 👌 👍
Nice one, really tidy. What do you do when your van needs a service or needs some work doing? Stay in a hotel or something ?
Great vid
Good videos mate, can I ask how you're getting on with the Bobil system...is it good? Cheers
It's okay. You pay for what you get. 90mins to heat
@iNDI_VAN_A_JONES what takes 90 minutes? Hot water? On what, 12v from cold? Cheers . Any chance of a video detailing this stuff please 🙏
Great vid Rich

Great work, You always sharing useful information. Maybe you can buy a leakage detector, it's a pretty handy tool.
Very informative and interesting if needing this sort of video, highly recommendable...., but meantime out on the road ??
@millinutz I traveled 3 months without plumbing haha
What's the boiler like on the the battery pal

@@milo.n.me.83 it came with the bobil vans heater. Called solaris
@@iNDI_VAN_A_JONES thankyou, I'm doin a crafter build in Australia and I just looked, I can buy that part on its own, awesome 👌
You need to use plumbers putty around the drain flange to prevent any leaking from the sink.
yup and it will save bits of food etc getting stuck under there and start to stink lol
The shower waste won’t flow uphill; you’ll surely need to route the pipe flatter 🤷🏻♂️
That little incline is acting as the trap to stop waste water smells coming back up the pipe into the van
Smoked many joints 😂😂
I can't work out what you call your boiler😢
