Her vocals are strong and powerful… she makes you feel the emotions in her songs not many female artist can make you feel emotions like that … there are some not taking away from any female artist/vocalist but if you can pull and make ppl feel the emotions in your songs then you know you have done your job as a vocalist
Rihannas best vocals/melisma was in SOS’s ad libs but it got overshadowed by the danceable beat of the song . She stopped melisma with Umbrella/GGGB era to stop the Beyonce comparisons but I’m glad she came back to it with Love on the Brain, because she’s amazing at melisma now with her raspy and mature tone. Rihanna is great at R&B. People forget she grew up idolizing Whitney, Mariah Carey, and Destinys Child, and she auditioned singing songs by Whitney and Beyonce. She also loves and Stans Mary J Blige . All R&B acts.
NOTE: I tried to make a compilation of songs and different moments to show variety from her, because I didn't want to put only ballad moments, and obviously i can't put all the moments and all the songs together, like 16min would only be from Music Of The Sun era, if I did that. I'll probably make part 2 of it or Studio ones, like her runs & riffs on Selfish by Future: heavenly.
The world didn’t appreciate her and her vocals enough 😢I always loved how she sings

Listening to people perform today compared to Rihanna back then makes me appreciate her way more and it reminds me of why I love her so much!
You need to do a video on her growls
It's actually my next video, just looking for time to to put it together.
Her young days reminds me to teen beyonce in DC in the way to sings riffs and run
An average voice but unique tone and special. Recognizable at 1st listen.
People dare say she isn’t a vocalist
Where is that clip from? Where the fans were too loud while she was singing
Where’s the video of her singing “I got sunshine” from?
It's from a Jam Session while she was visiting Miguel's Wildheart Motel art installation
