Jessie is such an underrated artist. She hardly gets recognition for her unique talent. There is nobody like her. There never has been and there never will be.

Jessie's incorporation of vibratto in her riffs and runs is very impressive.
I feel like we could make a literally ENDLESS video with Jessie's best vocals because she literally kills it every time she performs live on stage! I don't even know how she does that but she does have an amazing way of reaching those high notes and amaze us all every single time! She is brilliant, one of a kind.

@Lifted Sailboat Couldn't agree more... Dude, she was underrated and worked her ass really hard, qlench them cheeks to where she is rn. Hates and negative comments were her daily intake. So to just say that she got all the talents right away from birth and ignore how hard she worked in the past and the present is just simply ignorant.

Every country has amazing talents but the UK has the most original and authentic of singers. From Jessie J, Amy Winehouse and Adele :P

Her insane vocals riffs, belts and all always make my throat sore!!!! She is unreal, but that must be some serious strain on her vocal cords. Now she has some really clean riffs(see 8:20), and insane agility, but some of it seems like it hurts...
Well she doesn't have the best vocal techniques as its mainly belting and she has plenty of training
One of the best voices of this generation, definitely. I love her so much.

Actually, she'll never ever get on Jessie's level. Why? Because all she does is hitting high pitched notes. They (Jessie, Whitney and Mariah) are versatile with unique techniques. Jessie has an impressive versatility, I'm just gonna give you 1 example cause if I had to give you more, one life wouldn't be enough. She can incorporate her unique vibrato in her riffs and runs on a way that's outta that world: Tori doesn't even know what that means.

Jessie's voice is very agile, by she doesn't possess the control a coloratura has while switching from best to head voice while riffing. Also her riffs are very staccato and quick, while a coloratura wold be able to switch from performing short staccato riffs and runs to very legato riffs and runs.

The term Coloratura is for Opera, not for Pop, it is used to describe the types of voices that female opera singers have.
Mr. Sarcastic the term coloratura can also be applied to a contemporary singer that has mastered high level of vocal ornamentation that is required to be classified as a coloratura. Jessie J definitely is not a coloratura that’s for sure however vocalists such Beyoncé and Jojo are contemporary coloratura mezzos that have received extensive classical training to perfect their techniques and have achieved coloratura level vocal agility
