The aircraft is owned by my flight school. It costs about £100 per hour now that I've got my license, but it cost me about £8,000 to get that. You can get it cheaper, but not much, unless you go to the USA, but I wouldn't recommend that.

@MrFSXmania They're not hard, but I've just done my ATPL ground school, so in comparrison at least they are far from hard. If you're starting in a year, I'd recommend you get hold of the books now. You need to pass Air law before you can go solo, and I think you have to pass Navigation & Meteorology before you can do your cross country qualifier.
Nothing is too tricky although the sooner you start the quicker you'll progress. Don't forget to get your 2nd class medical too.

This is really cool! Im just wondering, im 15 and ive always wanted to have a plane and have a liscence, how much does it cost to get your PPL and how much is the aircraft? Is this aircraft shared or is it fully yours?

what was the exams like for the PPL? as im going to be doing it in a years time.
