We really, really enjoyed your video! We have not been in Vientiane or Luang Prabang for several years. We are going again next month. We can't wait! Your video was just perfect to revisit the wonderful spots of Vientiane that we loved and miss. You did a great job! Thank you!
That brings back cherished memories . Twenty years ago or so when visiting Vientiane I always seemed to gravitate towards the stadium to find a nice room . It appears that the area is as good as ever in this regard . I now feel a strong urge to return . Good health !
I"m Seattle. And I love Laos. Everyone seems to skip Laos. But I don't . Laos is a charming country. Luang Prabang and Vang Vieng are small towns that expats love including me. French colonial architecture in Luang Prabang with a backdrop of rivers and mountains. Very romantic.
i used to live there when i was 4 years old , that is my neighbor, i still remember all those streets even the some buildings are changed, the stadium is still the same the government building is still the same, nam phou is still the same back 60 years ago.
I guess you don't know who this guy is. he walks around 1hour morning and 1hour afternoon for exercise, and he live on that road before you get down to the fountain.
Most people I've met love Laos, but of course it depends on what you're into. This channel is definitely about showing the reality of countries that are covered because we want to make sure people are prepared.
What kind of action are you looking for ? You like the overcrowded jam packed area as it is in other parts of the world ? Laos is not boring sir. It's a peaceful way of living. No stress and kaotic. I myself don't like much crowd. I will be visiting wonderful Laos 🇱🇦 2/24

Good health to you also! :)
Nice walking tour with useful description, especially the big stick! Thanks for sharing. Will visit soon.
Glad it was helpful! ;)
That coffee shop used to be called Cafe La Pagode back in 1975. The clock tower is new, i dont recall seeing it back then.
Great information! Thank you! :)

Nice video ❤❤❤
Thanks 🤗
Good video. Not rushed. Pity about the roof top bar bor pen closing. I used to go there. Where do travellers and friendly locals go now?
Samlo Pub is still open with a similar vibe, so that's the last of the old school places! The best discos are gone.
@@SeekeroftheWay-qt5kj don chan palace gone nightclub gone?
That was good
Kop chai deu was good too
That is still going judging by your video
Interesting walk around but there is nothing that would make me buy a ticket to this place.
A big part of the charm is the local people.
Visit the Philippines

I have traveled a lot there. I will definitely go back to film in the near future! :)

It's a healthy routine!
Serait mieux d’avoir un commentaire en Français non ?
Oui, oui, merci beaucoup! :)
I need to know... Is Laos as boring as everyone says it is?
