Hey how’s it going this is the first video I’ve watched of yours I really enjoyed it keep up the good work
Excited to see you experience this game Sienna! The original Mafia from 2002 was (and still is) an ultra banger game, other than some parts of the engine being a bit wonky I think Hangar 13 did a pretty good job doing it justice with this remake, especially after the absolute fiasco that was Mafia 3, lol. Only thing that's really missing is the licensed music selection from the original which was one of the most memorable things about it, and a couple minor things like the Lucas Bertone bonus mini-missions, but I thought it was quite nice on the whole.
It did not justice. It was an absolute insult to the original game. The "remake" was nothing but a slighly polished version of Mafia 3, on top of Mafia 1's setup and story

1)As I said, the Defective Edition is worst in almost every single aspect.
2) The storytelling is also damaged massacred by this inferior version, being the biggest flaw the change in attitude for Tom.
3) OG version had amazing graphics for it´s time, and still looks impressive, considering it´s 22 years old.

This game is a remake, the original came out in the early 2000s. It was very revolutionary for its time and even had some influence in other games like gta

@@lilblock3564 In that case, I would say that the main reason is the change in the behaviour of the characters, Tommy's being the one which makes things worst (because of being the main character). The only character faithful (and I even would say improved) to his original counterpart is Ralphie. Sam, may be also quite decent.

Great game and this game its a gem but for me the original Mafia 1 from 2002 is the masterpiece and for this remake Mafia 1 remake is a great game made too bad it's not dedicated to a voice actor like George DiCenzo who played the character of Don Salieri from the original 2002 game and i know its was for developers so hard to find a voice actor for character like Salieri

This is complete remake of game from 2002. But the original have also its charm. This game is great but some parts are done better in the 2002 original. But not many. First game was made in Czech Republic by small independent studio and later bought by 2K and they made Mafia 2,3 and this Definitive edition under the 2K publisher as 2K Czech and Hangar 13.
