After watching the thatching video I had to watch this. I don't know why it took me 5 decades to start paying more attention to the yard and property here. I definitely see a difference in plugging versus spiking. Until I saw this video I didn't even know plugging was an option. That dirt dog unit seems well built and we'll engineered. As a former machinery designer and fabricator I appreciate a good design. Thanks for the awesome reviews
The information you provide is invaluable. Watching your vidios have answered so many questions. Presenting the tolls for small tractors helps a lot. I say I want-to-be farmer. That being said it states I don't know a lot about farming.
You are so correct Courtney when you talk about the core plug aerator being better than the spike style. One thing that reaffirms what you are saying is if you go to a tool rental store and/or hire someone to aerate your yard for you, they will always have the core plug model.
Another great video. I've always been told to leave the plugs on the lawn because they bring beneficial bacteria to the top to help decompose thatch before it becomes a problem.
I plug every fall...being in the NC, the soils aren't the best for lawns and if you don't plug every fall, there is a direct impact on compaction and vigor of the lawn. Looks like a great product. Would love to have one of my own.
Today is the first that I've seen any of your videos. I saw 4 of your awesome TH-cam videos. All where very helpful for my 3520 John Deere that I've owned for three years and still didn't know many of the tips and tricks that you showed. The 3 point core plug aerator is just the tool that I need for my yard that is 44 years old. Your video presentations are very well done! Thanks for sharing!
I have over 2 acres of lawn and I am quite OCD about making my lawn the best in the neighborhood. I would love one of these aerators to help make my lawn look even better. Great video. Thanks
This would be great for my weed yard to start some restoration. Recent flooding made my yard into a lake and now weed factory. Excellent educational video
As always, thank you for showing your product line at work while informing on details of the product vs just yapping about it, coming from a guy in the "show me" state.
The core aerator appears to be a significant and positive tool. The deck on my Kubota is so difficult to take off and put on I just leave it on; completely all my deck cleaning when I take the blades off to sharpen them. Nice video!!!
Dirt Dog is a little over an hour from here. I like their implements and they make good products. Thank you for all the videos, Courtney. This is the really one of the last implements I honestly need!
Great job on the video and presentation! I am a little disappointed that the spoon spindles are not independent from each other. I found that independent spindles operate much more smoothly on turns with less damage to lawn. I have a 48" Land Pride CA1548 ($1,200 in 2017) 3-point aerator that I use on my Kubota BX23S. The Land Pride has 9 independent spindles with grease fittings on each spindle. The Land Pride will soon be a hybrid. A custom removable bracket and tow arm that fits into the 3-point mount of the aerator is being fabricated. It has manual locking wheels for now as I am sourcing an electric cylinder to power lift and lower the wheels. Thank you for the video!
This would be a great piece of equipment to have. I have some compaction in my yard where I drive over it to my barn. This would be the perfect solution.
Very good attachment ! In your opinion what are the pros / cons comparing with the same tool from SweepAll ? Similar or significative different in the finished product ? Thanks for sharing for tips. Looking forward to seeing more. 👍😉
I have a similar attachment I use on my JD4300. I can use dead-weight or hydraulic pressure to make the rotary device pull out pugs. At firs the law looks like a pack of wild dogs came thru and pooped all over the place, but if I followup by spreading grass seed the plug dissolve in rain and holes hold water creating great conditions for new grass sprouts!
this core plugger would be the answer to get my lawn healthy again by getting the nutrients down where they are the most beneficial. great product demo.
In the past, I've always rented a plug aerator . The trouble is they were pull behinds, there was no way to lift over the concrete or driveway!! t This three point setup really is the way to go.
Looks like it's built pretty good and if I'm not saying does a pretty good job but I guess it depends on the surface everybody's working with if you got rock hard surface you might have to go over several times or maybe add more weight but you look pretty good in this video anyway
Great attachment. I do agree now is the time to aerate and over seed. I usually wait for a good rain storm and get out early the next morning. We have had a lot of rain in Connecticut lately. I like to aerate in many directions as my lawn is pretty beat up from the summer heat. Looks bad for a few weeks but worth it in the end.
Sorry for the question on such an old video, but have you heard of anyone using a drum aerator with a FEL in float? (would need a 3pt to SSO adapter). Seems like that would give plenty of weight for down pressure, and you could run a dethatcher in the back at the same time or a spreader.
I'm going to plug aerate my lawn this spring. The rental cost for the aerator is $425 per day. I could purchase one from at that cost in about 2 years assuming I aerate in the spring and fall with my JD 2038r.
Hey from north Iowa, Cortney I love watching all your videos. The aerator would be a great addition to my implements. Keep up the excellent work and I'm sure you'll get to 200,000 viewers. Take care and God Bless.
I'll be taking a closer look at these. Much more affordable than much of the others out there, especially for something you use twice a year! Thanks for the great content!
What a great tool, could really use this on our property. I noticed you did not put any weight on the plugger and it still worked well. Thanks for another informative video.
The Dirt Dog looks like a well built and designed aerator built in the US, I also like the name and log. Thank you for demonstrating the Dirt Dog Aerator.
Thanks for all these informative video's as a new tractor owner you've been a blessing. Also that SpeeCo Quick hitch got repaired and was paid forward.
I appreciate your realistic approach to your content. stating what works and what doesn't and why. nice to see content, not a sales pitch.
Borrowed one from a friend and it worked great ! I would love to have one of my own someday !
Looks like a solid unit that any homeowner with a compact tractor would be lucky to have!
After watching the thatching video I had to watch this. I don't know why it took me 5 decades to start paying more attention to the yard and property here. I’m pleased with how you outlined the difference between spoon and spike tools. I’d love to have an orange one…
Make me The winner. Core plug aeration is awesome
Just purchased a John Deere 1025 for my landscaping company! This attachment would heavily improve thr efficiency on our lawn aeration services!!!
This is what my sorry lawn needs. I’ve been wanting one of these for quite some time now. Love the channel.
I think this could really enhance the health of my lawn. I enjoy all of your videos.
I just ordered my first tractor a JD 2025 and I have been looking at a lot of your videos and have been picking up a lot of useful information.
I plug every fall...being in the NC, the soils aren't the best for lawns and if you don't plug every fall, there is a direct impact on compaction and vigor of the lawn. Looks like a great product. Would love to have one of my own.

Love all your videos. I watch them all the time with my kids
I like the fact that you try the equipment out that you sell and do a lot of the guess work on our part thanks for doing the research
I could really use this guy. Thanks so much for all your videos. Enjoy watching them.
Just got a BX2680 recently. This looks like a nice tool help the lawn grow happier
This would be great for my weed yard to start some restoration. Recent flooding made my yard into a lake and now weed factory. Excellent educational video
As always, thank you for showing your product line at work while informing on details of the product vs just yapping about it, coming from a guy in the "show me" state.
Glad it is made in the USA. Looked like it did it great job. Love watching the channel.
I would love one of these. It would make maintaining a 4 acre yard much easier.
I'm a new 1025R owner and have really appreciated your videos. I recently purchased the dethatcher and the aerator would make a great addition.
The core aerator appears to be a significant and positive tool. The deck on my Kubota is so difficult to take off and put on I just leave it on; completely all my deck cleaning when I take the blades off to sharpen them. Nice video!!!
I used to work at a golf course where we plugged every fall. Nice looking product for this job.
I always plug our lawn in the fall so fertilizer can enter to the roots. Good Works Tractor videos are always helpful.
Dirt Dog is a little over an hour from here. I like their implements and they make good products. Thank you for all the videos, Courtney. This is the really one of the last implements I honestly need!
I just hit the reset button for my yard, starting over from scratch - this would make a great tool to keep it looking great, thanks for sharing!
You really take some time finding good products. I can appreciate that.
I’ve learned more about tractors from you than any other site. Keep up the good work and thanks for all the help!

Looks like good quality. Thanks for discovering and presenting this new line of equipment.
Submitting this just in the nick of time! That plugger could change the face of my property! Thanks for making these videos!
This would be a great piece of equipment to have. I have some compaction in my yard where I drive over it to my barn. This would be the perfect solution.
With this I might consider starting a small business taking care of lawns when I retire very soon.
Thank you for all your videos.
This is the best informational channel!
New tractor owner and still learning a lot from these videos. I have 2 places this could be good for.
We so need this. We have 3 acres we mow. We have been slowly adding attachments to our 1025R and we've learned so much from Good Works, thanks. .
Very good attachment ! In your opinion what are the pros / cons comparing with the same tool from SweepAll ? Similar or significative different in the finished product ? Thanks for sharing for tips. Looking forward to seeing more. 👍😉

That's a unique design... like the way they divided the shafts for 3pt mounted turning.
this core plugger would be the answer to get my lawn healthy again by getting the nutrients down where they are the most beneficial. great product demo.
The Dirt Dog equipment looks pretty good. I love that you continually highlights new products and new suppliers. Thank you for that.
I have never plugged my lawn and it’s in major need of it. This implement would help me maintain my 3 acres. Thanks for all you helpful videos!
I'm moving to new place and that plugger would make the lawn so nice, thanks for all the great videos and education
Plugging looks better than using spikes . Thanks for another great implement video.
Thank you for all your product demonstrations. It's great to see them used in actual situations.
I would love to have this plugger behind my Kubota. This sure would help keep my yard healthy. Thanks for these videos
My son turned me on to your presentations and I'm glad he did. If I win this attachment I will give it to him. Thanks.
No doubt;, a dream come true!
Glad you found Dirt Dog! Great companies find other great companies. Wonderful demo as always good sir! 🙂
I have been core aerating for years with a small lightweight craftsman. This is definitely a step up.
That looks like it’s very well built. Probably one of my next investments.
this hard work your doing will pay off, keep it up!!!
I love seeing new products that I can use on my tractor to make my life easier. Keep up the great videos!
So glad to see something's made in America looks like a great machine awesome video
Tried everything to improve my lawn... except plugger. Free would be a welcome and needed bonus.
In the past, I've always rented a plug aerator . The trouble is they were pull behinds, there was no way to lift over the concrete or driveway!! t This three point setup really is the way to go.
As always, thank you for your dedication to selling quality products
Great video. I love how you talk over all of the pros and cons. Very Informative.
A three point plugger would really help take my lawn to the next level!
As always, your videos are of great quality, both visually and content. Keep up the great work. Look forward to the next video!
Thanks for noting the difference between the plug and spikes/knives… Very informative video!
Good content. The tines go deeper if you thoroughly water your lawn the day before working it.
Looks like it's built pretty good and if I'm not saying does a pretty good job but I guess it depends on the surface everybody's working with if you got rock hard surface you might have to go over several times or maybe add more weight but you look pretty good in this video anyway
Depends on grass type on when to aerate.
I sure could use this on my projects.
I learn something new almost every time I watch. Great videos.
I am a yard fanatic. It looks like it works like a champ in the video. Would love to have one.
This would be a great addition to my attachment collection!!!
Keep the videos coming. This would be a good tool for our lawn and the five family members lawns we take care of.
I really enjoy your videos. they are informative and educational. Thank you
So close to 100K! Hard work pays off. Congrats!
Thanks sharing all the information and the demo videos, really appreciate all of it.
I like the fact it’s made in America, nice
That aerator looks very well built, I like that it can be greased.
Courtney thanks for offering these prizes. Been following you for several years since Tractor Time With Tim bought from you.
Thanks for plugging away at this video!
I caught the tractor bug and really have learned a lot from GWT videos. Many Thanks
This would be really nice to have to take care of my lawn. I have a spiked one and you are right, it just compacts the soil.
Really need this for my yard . Would be a great addition to my collection.
This is the way to have a beautiful lawn.
The core aerators are the best. Great information, would love one of these for my 1025r.
Thank's for your informative video's explanation of each piece of equipment you sell is helpful for determining purchases!😎

I could really use an aerator, but good luck to everyone.
Really enjoy and get a lot of value out of the videos.
