Using a JD 3038 w full size bucket. Frequently cant get under thing due to the wide contact area with the ground surface. This bucket solves the problem. Looking forward to getting one and getting under some stuff I haven't been able to move. thanks...

Just received my GWT stump wrecker today. love the fragile sticker on the packaging lol.. yes im late to the raffle but running a john deere 3025r. plan on giving the og a run for its money. Got 47 acres in WNY of virgin all wooded land, that I'm adding a 1,000yrd range and jeep trails to. Not to mention those jeep trails will help me move in other equipment/ supplies for zip lines, ropes courses, look out tower, and other things. that are also in the plans. just imagen if you gave a teen boy a credit card and said have fun. that's my end goal.
one simple modification that could possibly be done cheap is chain slots on each side. So moving a stump or tree a chain can be looped from one side to the other securing it.

I’m wondering how much you think the larger stump bucket will cost, ballpark estimate. But the smaller one would sure come in handy on my tractor. I have a lot of stumps to clear and I can’t do stump grinders anymore. Also need to make some ditches and trenches for electric lines.
Stump bucket takes care of almost all of my digging needs. Cheap substitute for a backhoe unless you need to dig a grave size holes. Any more digging than that and you really want an excavator. Stump bucket excellent for getting rocks out and shallow digging. I typically go back and forth between my flat bucket and stump bucket on different projects. I'd love to win this, but to be honest, if I won it I'd do probably the most boring thing possible with it -- remove stumps -- lol. I would use it for for its intended use. Shrubs & Stumps. I have a JD 2025R with Backhoe. Helping friends & family I tell them they have to choose if they want me bring; Stump grinder or backhoe. A stump bucket with a grinder I would be more effective.
I would LOVE to have that Stump Bucket - I really want the new proto heavy duty version for my Kubota L3400, but the original would be pretty sweet too! I have TONS of little junk trees and shrubs on my property that will be quaking in fear when I win that bad-boy!
If I had a stump bucket designed for a 4 series tractor and decided to use it on my 7000lb skidsteer would it hold up or would that size ( 60hp ) skidsteer be too much for the stump bucket designed for the 4 series JD tractor? Reason I’m asking is I am buying a 4720 and have a Gehl 5635 ( 60hp 7000lb ) skidsteer and would like my attachments to work on both. My 4720 has the skidsteer quick attach, not the Deere system so buckets, forks and other attachments can be used on both. Looking at getting a 8 foot HLA snow pusher to use on the tractor too but will be using it on the skidsteer as well. I want one of these stump buckets cause part of my business is stump removal and land clearing - looking for a cheaper alternative to a mini excavator. Also don’t want to tear up my machines but do want to be able to dig up and remove 4-6 foot stumps.

We have 4.5 heavily wooded acres and are clearing trees for safety around the house. Having this would go a LONG way in clearing all of the stumps. These are 80ft trees with about 2ft diameter stumps. Plus we are needing to do some trenching for a French drain. Our church just bought property that I will be clearing as well. So I have a lot of uses for this! And I am pretty close to you in NW Indiana!
I'd come up with multiple uses for this great design. It seems like we're constantly transplanting large clumps of large decorative grasses. Take the shovel from my hand! It would also help me clear some smaller growth on ATV path through the woods. A grubbing hoe is a back killer. Sign me up for a freebie. :-)
Im clearing small 1-2 acre areas for food plots or bedding & nesting cover for our 82 acre farm & at 67 years old could use all the help I can get! We live in New Hampshire. It’s not called the Granite State for nothing. Whenever we dig a hole, we hit a boulder. This would be a useful item for that, and for removing stumps as we clean up around the perimeter of our fields. It’d sure work well on our LX2610.

I have been dealing with pine trees on my 7 acre property for several years now. Last year, a tornado hit. The cleanup was costly and long. I lost tract after 35 trees being removed and that left me to deal with 35 stumps or root balls. The stump bucket would really help deal with some of this using my JD 1023E. Just found your site and am enjoying all the useful information. I purchased a used 1025r and absolutely love doing all the projects on my property that I wasn’t able to do in the past. The stump bucket would be a very useful tool not only for the obvious reason but I really want to make a small river bed (about a hundred feet long) in my landscaping and I thought I was going to have to get a backhoe, but it looks like this would work just as well and would be much cheaper and take up a lot less room to store. Nice that it’s American made. Only problem I see is the difficulty of seeing just where the “teeth” are from the seat of the tractor. Ever think of developing a small camera/w view screen similar to the backup cameras on an automobile ??

I got my 1025R mainly for my use but also to help out my family with their projects. Removing stumps and bushes for sure but like the versatility of it as well.
This is what is needed to clean the fields that have overgrown with wildling Bradford pears and black locusts. My husband was diagnosed with Multiple System Atrophy that lasted for 8 years before he died. He would beg for me to tie him in his tractor so he could clean up his fields. Later all farm equipment was stolen after his death. It is discouraging to sera beautiful farm go under.

Got mine in August its been a labor saver for sure !!! Lots of mesquite and cedar at my place and its been a great I would highly recommend it

I'm looking to purchase but would the HD version be too much for a Kubota L2501?
I've watched your video about your Stump bucket. It looks very capable of doing many task, I have about 1.5 acres in town and I need to clean out the fence around the property of trees. It would make it a lot easier on this 68 year old man and would fit my 1025 very well.
Picking up a Kioti DX5310 with a grapple this week. This would be a great implement to have to work my wooded lot up here in Maine!
My back feel better just knowing this exist! Stump and rock removal would be what I would use this for.

I have a 2+ acre of woods, black berries and misc plants ready for a versatile front stump bucket like this to clean up the mess. Would love to have this super stump bucket on my compact tractor as the regular bucket is such a blunt instrument to tackle smaller plants. I could definitely use one of these Stump Buckets! Have bent a few blades on my mid mount mower on my 1025R running over stumps I did not know were there.

I have a JD 3025. I have some stumps to remove and a drainage ditch to keep clear. This is the best looking "stump buster" I've seen!

Just found your site and am enjoying all the useful information. I purchased a used 1025r and absolutely love doing all the projects on my property that I wasn’t able to do in the past. The stump bucket would be a very useful tool not only for the obvious reason but I really want to make a small river bed (about a hundred feet long) in my landscaping and I thought I was going to have to get a backhoe, but it looks like this would work just as well and would be much cheaper and take up a lot less room to store. Again thanks for all the useful info!!!

Good explanation of why your stump bucket is shorter than competing products. Further comparison would be useful.

I would use the stump bucket for all kinds of projects including stump removal and moving boulders/rocks.

Nice that it’s American made. Only problem I see is the difficulty of seeing just where the “teeth” are from the seat of the tractor. Ever think of developing a small camera/w view screen similar to the backup cameras on an automobile ??

I got my 1025R mainly for my use but also to help out my family with their projects. Removing stumps and bushes for sure but like the versatility of it as well.
First time home buyer and first time tractor buyer. I would use it on my JD 3025e to clean up my property and help my neighbors with theirs.
This is what is needed to clean the fields that have overgrown with wildling Bradford pears and black locusts.
My husband was diagnosed with Multiple System Atrophy that lasted for 8 years before he died. He would beg for me to tie him in his tractor so he could clean up his fields. Later all farm equipment was stolen after his death. It is discouraging to sera beautiful farm go under.
I would use the stump bucket on my JD 3025D to remove small trees and stump on my land in preparation for building a new home.

Wow that looks like a versatile implement. I would us it to dig up stumps and possibly pull up small trees and shrubs. I would like the larger version for my L series. So paint it orange if you like.
