“A slight modification on the old saying” LOL. I learned that one early on in my youth. And the new “Randall spreader” is quite an improvement! (Randall, I was laughing with you on those clips of you on the back of the golf cart! Too funny. What a great job you folks did sharing your gifts with the improvements for Oil Belt. And what a fun time to watch. Blessings to all.
I purchased the Frontier version of that spreader, SS2067B, with stainless spreader wheel, I believe it’s manufactured by BEFCO, very nice spreader, you will not be disappointed!
Video suggestion: As I've now noted in about 6 of your videos I'm watching my way through your back catalog as I learn about tractors (I've also finished most of good works and a few others). Anyway, on to the video suggestion. You did a whole multi part series on compact tractors, and never talked about open station/ROPS vs having a cab. I'm curious as to your thoughts on the two. What are the downsides to a cab other than cost? I have this recurring nightmare that I'll buy an open station tractor, and, having tempted fate, be doomed to die of exposure in a blizzard trying to plow my driveway.
I like the first spreader, lol I’ve done that several times. After using the spreader couple of times, I cleaned it up, the next year it was all corroded up.
Tim would you put those headsets in your store or link to them? My wife and I are on different tractors and she really wants some, I'm a little unsure myself? lol
I can do a full load of 500lbs of fertilizer on my entire 1 acre property in 10 minutes. About 2300 engine RPM, low gear, pedal to the floor, and the gate open about to #3 keeps the spread width managable and I go over the entire property twice in a criss-cross pattern to avoid any lines or missed spots.
Agri supply doesn't make them. ...but it might very well be the same spreader. I just went through the exercise of comparing the price. Shipping is cheaper with the TractorBasics version. ...AgriSupply was $699 base price, TB is $880. 10% TTWT discount is $792, then $60 less shipping gets to within $30. A LONG way from $300. ....and I suspect you can get that $30 (or more) by calling and explaining. ...but be HONEST about the AgriSupply price rather than saying $300 cheaper.
We need more "Randal time with Tim". He's great. Love seeing your great work

Any video with Tim's brothers is epic.
The older one Tom is his big brother and Randal is his nephew
Y'all got a few chuckles out of me. Love seeing family working together and having fun interacting with one another.
Love when you’re working with your brothers. Family is important. Thanks Tim.
just tossin out a fyi for the future....you can raise or lower the spin spreader with the 3pt to do some spread width adjustment
The Randall spreader in "feed the chickens" mode was quite entertaining. Probably most economical for small seeding areas.

Great work for such a worthy cause. Really enjoy when you have Tom and Randal on.
Love it when family is together on a project👍
It’s always fun to see the this family working together.

That was a big job and done with great friends and fun had by all. Thanks for sharing.
Love the Family Work together Videos Tim.
Thanks Much...
Mike M.
A nother spectacular task handled by a good crew!
same spreader on a 1026 6mph with a 60 foot spread,,have a gps set up on it so no misses,,works great
I just purchased my spreader at the beginning of the year. I haven’t used it yet. Thank you for the video
The swale project turned out great! Nice fertilizer spreader, a more even spreading coverage compared to the Randall Basics lol.
That spreader is a godsend for making foodplots.
That is very similar to the Land Pride spreader.
love the family videos!!!!
Great job, guys, and gal's.
really like the 3320 and the seeder, looks like a cool rig.:D
I like the first spreader, lol I’ve done that several times. After using the spreader couple of times, I cleaned it up, the next year it was all corroded up.
Great job! Would love to se a fall farm/ harvest video again this year. Thanks
Will be a few weeks minimum. We are booked! Sorry.
Love this content. It's truly a joy to learn and watch!
Love it guys ya'll work well together. Nice job
Tim would you put those headsets in your store or link to them? My wife and I are on different tractors and she really wants some, I'm a little unsure myself? lol
Wish I could! Stihl Advance Procom
Got me a wigwam/pendulum spreader, they are awesome! Broadcast is significantly cheaper but not even close to as efficient.
Cool dolly shots.
I thought the “Randall-spread-o-meter” was excellent! 😊
Awesome, all the way around!

Any recommendations on how to control the open and close when you have a cab tractor?
Not at present :-). Would take some creativity!
we use a electric actuator and some thoughts...
Get a SpeeCo quick hitch, you don't need those expensive bushings :)
I would like to see that area in a years time
We had a brief shot of last years work behind Tyler’s house …a year later.
Hmmm that would be a cool chicken feeder.
I know you like your quick hitch, but have you ever tried Pat’s Quick Hitch?
Yes. Not a fan. Sorry.
Quick hitch isn’t perfect either!
3 pt is just frustrating!
So interesting, thank you
Could this (or any other) 3 pt spreader be used to spread salt or sand on roads in the winter?
Yes. This one would work fine for that, especially with the side to side selection.
yes,,i use one but the sand has to be on the dryer side to work properly
Man....y'all are having way to much fun to call it work.....wait nobody ever called it work. I get it now!!!!! 😂😂😂😂 Great video. #family
Does that straw blower chop the straw as well as blow it? That is a pretty cool contraption.
Yes, it does. Works very nice when hooked up like we had it. Requires 3 people to be efficient. Driver and two operators.
@@TractorTimewithTim 👍👍
Great video!
Good job .
Will this spreader work for salt in winter?
Yes.
Randall time with Tim 😂lol
How well would this work on a 1025r size tractor?
Fine. Might not be able to fill it totally full, but it will work great. Made for it.
we have used it on big golfcources full,,
Great video
Will this spread lime?
I don't think it will. Hole isn't very big. I'm afraid lime would cake up in it.
Works better than a burlap bag tied to a fox tail lol
👍
This looks to be just a rebranded Agri Supply PL400, but this version cost $300 more.
Agri supply doesn't make them. ...but it might very well be the same spreader.

👍👍
Last year. Lol. It did work. Lol
The camera woman might have an opinion about how you turned out
Is Tom your older brother, or how is he related if he is? I know I'm being nosey, but you won't know much if you never ask.
Tom is my older brother. Randall is Tom's son.
Ohh I thought Randall was your way younger brother 😂 an oops baby
That's awesome y'all still work on stuff together.
Lol last year was more fun
