Unfortunately you’ll have to since nobody really goes for small phones anymore (by nobody I mean the majority). The smallest you can get wouldn’t be less than 6 inch
ive had the 13 mini for about 3 years, and the main reason i still have it is because it actually fits in my pocket and doesn't feel like a burden to carry with me

The mini is just the best. If they don't come out with a new mini version, I will keep my 13 mini as long as it gets a security update. Mini... the "M" in Mobile phone.

Typing this on my mini! Honestly, I think the 13 mini is just a solid phone. Small enough to be anywhere and everywhere, reliable enough to be used anytime, and modern enough to stay relevant even two years later. I love this pocket powerhouse!

Just made my last payment on my 13 mini 512GB Black, from a 11Pro. Love the size and does everything I need. The battery is fine, when it goes dead I’m usually at home. The night camera is alright.. until Apple makes a similar model with some upgrades, I’ll be sticking with this bad boy for a long time.
I have a 12 Mini and a 15 Pro Max and I use the 12 Mini as my music phone because it’s easier to hold in my hand for when I go on walks
Switched to a 15 pro for the USB-C, the Ti frame, the “better camera” and I was curious about having more screen real estate since I mostly owned smaller phones. Boy do I miss the 13 mini!!
I agree; The iPhone mini series should be repurposed as the iPhone SE. I will always go for the smallest iPhone option.
They really should reintroduce the Mini series into the SE and market it as a budget line of iPhones but I think Apple are just banking off people buying the latest most expensive version and for the rest and not caring for the small percentage of users that use the mini. I do think more people would have bought the mini if there was any sort of marketing for it.
If apple made it new with a Dynamic Island. It’ll sell like hot cakes.
Yeah I don't think Apple is widening their phone product line since they know people will pay the price to buy an expensive iPhone. A friend of mine was actually a buyer of the C and SE models because she liked the form factor and price. She upgraded to the 15 though and to me that satisfies all the lower tier iPhone needs.

I always love the smaller sized phones. I has the 6s plus but it is really cumbersome to carry outside. I am now using the 12 mini and the first gen SE as a backup phone.

I agree about a pro mini. I actually am waiting for a small phone with a beamer. Big girls may be beautiful but it is best if it starts small and gets bigger, look at nature, and considering also the Nokia design from the beginning is back, this CE (classic edition) would also be a good move. Although the idea of a watch combined with a pro could be a winning team too.
ive had 2x iphone 7, and now iphone 12 pro max, and i honestly hate the weight, and how big the phone is, im going back to small phones, i hope i find a Mini iphone for a good deal
I upgraded from an iphone SE 2020 to an iphone 13 mini last year, 2023. I'm what would considered an average consumer. I LOVE its small form factor - it is a flagship phone in a more convenient, portable size. The screen is fantastic and I can operate it with one hand. My intent is to NEVER get an almost-tablet-sized phone.
i've been using my 13 mini for a year now and i LOVE it. yes, the battery obviously lasts not as long as the pro models, but people made it seem as if the mini would last for two hours only, which is not the case and it's not as if we all use our phones for 10 hours daily when having a daily routine like working, maybe going to the gym, meeting up with friends etc.
it easily lasts the whole day for me, even tho i use apps like tiktok A LOT which drain a lot of battery. and if i want to be safe to have enough battery life for the rest of the day, i just carry my powerbank with me🤷🏻♀️ people nowadays want phones with features and battery life they don't even make use of.
I want tech minimalism in my life , tech that gets the job done without feeling like a burden on my life or even there at all and the 13 mini does just that for me. It doesn’t have the latest and greatest features that 2024 phones have but that’s fine by me, it does everything I need it to do while fitting perfectly into one hand and I’m not distracted by all these “must have features” that everyone says you need on the pro phones.
Using mine by a year now. Still hoping they would bring back the mini line up, or replace the SE with the mini. For me 5-7hrs of Screen on time is a heavy use or too much for me as using a phone ;) and gladly upon updating to latest ios 17.3, even if i already have 88% batt health? Now can still manage to last a 7-9hrs of battery

Apple should re-use the iPhone 13 mini's body for their future SE's! They want to be eco-friendly and that's the way to go. Plus, it reminds us of the original iPhone SE 1st gen! Where it is a Special Edition phone!

I had the 12 Mini for 2 years, I enjoyed the compact size and light weight of the Mini but after owning my current 14 Pro I realize the Mini is lacking some features that I wouldn’t want to live without now that I have experienced them with the 14 Pro. I’ve taken pictures with my 14 Pro that would have been totally useless if I had taken them with my 12 Mini with its digital zoom

Night mode is software, they actively chose to do that to the SEs. Also starting with the iPhone 14, non pro models don’t have the “flagship” chip anymore. I also wish they made minis
They should come out with a mini every4-5 years. I could move up to a regular size and not mind so much but the max size is way too big. I'll keep my mini as long as I possibly can and even if I get a bigger phone I'll keep the mini as a daily driver.

I love my iPhone 13 mini (blue). Size is perfect. Features are all I need. The MagSafe battery pack and HIVE wallet fits perfectly (I did have the Apple wallet but the hive wallet magnet is so much stronger). They look great when connected. Not like on the bigger phones where they look lost haha . I’m keeping this phone for quite some years.
I think it was kinda doomed from the start. And I saw it coming. "Bigger" is "Better" in the eyes of the average consumer, even amongst the ladies. You can do a blindfold test between the Mini and some huge mid tier Android phone and they will still choose the Android over the iPhone, well assuming that person isn't biased af to the brand.

The mini should be the standard phone size. A 5.4 inch full screen display is already more than enough. Don’t know why people want a bigger phone. If you want something bigger carry an iPad in your pocket
Agreed! There is an audience for this product. I personally do not want to carry an iPad-sized phone in my pocket for crying out loud! Unfortunately, I attempted to upgrade from the 12 mini through @Verizon before knowing this. Rather than being transparent, they actually kept telling me the phone was on order, and maintained this lie for months! They finally sent me a re-conditioned phone ( attempting to get rid of their inventory!) and said to take it into the store where they will exchange it. Now, that sounded like a lie, but why would a mega-phone supplier practice deceit? Customer loyalty is now customer dependency, which is the end of quality. I wish I had seen this video first. Shame on @Verizon who trades integrity for profit. Shame on Apple for not abandoning a small contingency of supporters.
I think mini failed because Apple introduced SE 2020 before it. I for one bought SE thinking that was the smallest iPhone I could get. Just couldn’t afford to switch then.
I’m thinking of buying a used iPhone 13 mini now in 2024 to replace that SE.

Great review I just bought one last week and received it today it was the good condition for 330 dollars but I didn't get lucky because my screen and the frame got a lot of scratches and the battery health is 85 but I'm probably going to keep it because I love small phones

cant decide between the iphone Se (2022) and the 13 mini. I'd like to buy a phone like the iphone 13 mini in like 3 years because for now Id like to stay with the familar nostalgic design of the Iphone but there will be no such small and kompact phone anymore, same for the iphone se so Im really indecisive which one to get.

As of 2/7/24, A15 CPU in the 13 Mini holds 10th place ranking of all CPU's and an A+ rating which is the same as A16 and A17. 13 Mini is still relevant for most casual users.

Apple could easily make a mini-sized 'Pro' if they wanted to, but they have set a floor on unit contribution margins, and I respect that.
I also respect that because of iOS upgrade support and battery replacement now being easier, I could realistically use my 13 Mini until 2028.
I just came back to Apple after a few years. Ended up with the 15pro but would have definitely bought a mini for both me and my wife if they had a 15 mini. Would rather have the smaller size than the pro features for sure.
Probably because of how hard it is to get the new camera sensors into such a small body. After all, Apple wants the iPhone mini to be a part of the same family as the rest of the iPhones and not the lower and second addition family. But how do you fit those large 48 megapixel sensors in there? They are just too small. And if they wanted to fit the 48 megapixel sensor, they would have to make the pixel smaller. Or stick with the 12 megapixel, which would then not make it the same as the rest of the iPhone family. I’m thinking that’s probably the reason, but I could be completely wrong.

I sold my 13 Non Pro and buy this 13 mini. And its going to be my phone for 5 years or maybe more or til its unusable. Pair it up with Magsafe Battery pack. Battery issue is attended
My 13 mini was my first color phone after my 5 iPhones before, all in black or graphite grey.
I got it in Product Red and still love it! But when the green mini came out I wanted that badly! Great color!
I hope Apple makes the Mini again, especially for people with only one arm.

I've got the 15 pro max and love it. Always on display, action button (I use it to launch a menu of shortcuts including AOD toggle, list my current 5 audible listens...).
But I wanted a smaller phone as well as I have 2 numbers (my android phones have run out of OS and security updates). So, I splashed out on a white iPhone Mini 13. Loving it!
Its so annoying to be forced to buy bigger phones, I think the apples marketing team failed with the iphone mini, it shouldnt be called mini in a first place. Its such a great phone i will keep it till they make a new 5.5 inch phone thats it
I always said they should get rid of the standard size with the mini size and call it nothing! because it's really not that SMALL, it's almost the same as an iPhone X! and keep the plus models. eg;

I have a 14pm as my main and a reg 13 as my back up the 60hz isn’t terrible by any means still smooth yes the 120hz is so much nicer but if I had to daily my 13 id be happy with it great battery camera and performance and just the perfect size I’m really considering sticking with the 6.1 in screen

The regular 14 is basically the same size as my pixel 4a. I don’t need smaller than that, I’d just mess up keystrokes at that point.

That's just bs - there were plenty people who wanted a small iPhone in 2020. But Apple themself killed the Mini series with their 2nd gen SE launched in March 2020 before they even launched it in September (12 Mini). 😉A whoooole lot (!!) of people bought the SE (sold more than 40 million times) and might be still using them today. The 12 Mini would have been way more popular if Apple would have waited with the launch of their SE as their first small iPhone since the iPhone 8 in 2017. They should have launched both at the same time. That's just so sad and stupid at the same time. They massively hindered their own business... 🥲 Most of the people who bought the SE won't get a new phone every 1-2years but instead use it for 3-4 years. They should have just skipped the 13 Mini and brought a 14 Mini instead. But at this time they already canceld the Mini series because of the low demand...

The reason I love my iphone 13 mini is because it has the power of a flagship phone in a smaller form factor. There is a niche market with people like me who DON'T want an almost tablet-sized phone. Apple needs to bring back the mini line. But until then, I keeping my 13 mini until Apple no longer supports it.

I still prefer my 12 mini although it’s really showing it’s age. If low demand is the problem for mini, then Apple should release the small edition every four years, like the ipad mini. Nobody needs a new phone until it really show it’s age. The only reason Apple release new iphone every year is only to increase the profit.
I imagine this will be the form factor of the new se would fit the line up perfectly
