  • I highly recommend doing this service by your self as it is easy and saves you so much money. The dealer for a non QV model will charge upwards of 800$ just for the break service not including the rotors. Takes about an hour if you have experience and maybe a bit longer if you don't have any. We used the EBC red stuff break pads from Madnessautoworks. And some OEM rotors from Alfissimo.

Many thanks for this video. One of the best related to pads & rotors replacement. I was doing it for the first time and everything went smoothly :) I used regular bar clamp to move back the piston ;)

It was not necessary to clean the rotors, because they are sprayed by color, not oiled for conservation for the way from supplier to customer. Anyway very good and helpful, thank you :)

Just looking for clarification I noticed that you didn't remove the motor however on another video I saw that the motor was removed so that the caliber could be turned is this the caliber that you can just push or do you need to turn it as well

After putting the brakes on brake service mode can I turn off the ignition I don’t want to run battery down while doing the job. Also did you have any problems with warning lights after you put it back in service

Man you have to learn the left and the right. You always start turning the opposite side! Also please remove the legs from below the car!

I don't blame Alfas for their bad reputation if such "Specialists" are repairing them... Nothing about any lubrication, disc grabbed with oily hands after poot cleaning, tools manipulation left or right - whatever like the ratched is used by the first time and of course no torque wrench at all !! It's not Alfa's fault....

That's hilarious , you buy painted rotors, sprayed them with brake cleaner and the paint came off yet you didn't even notice it . lmao
