Thanks far posting. Ive the same Brembos on the front of mine from autodoc.... both front pad wires have snapped off since the garage fitted them, and they squeal like hell. The point where you noted the direction of the pad makes me think they have fitted them the wrong way and the wires were not routed correctly! I will probably have a bash at changing them myself next time going by this video 👍 Thank you.
Thanks for the comment. I’m really glad the video was useful. The pads do seem to make quite a bit of noise with these brakes, I put some brake assembly grease on, but I will put a bit more on next time!
Hello. Very important note. When finish replacing pass and discs many times you need to retract pistons in the caliper. Ones is done and job finish you need to jump into the car directly pump several times brake pedal till the moment it will "grow up" then you can start ignition. If you skip that process ecu will detect it and take it as a leaks from braking system. As a respond it will block some sections on abs pump and brakes won't work at all or just a side. Additionally you will get "Christmas tree lights" on your dashboard/cluster. It that case without computer your car will be INOP.
thank you for the vid, it was helpful. a few questions, where did you purchase the pads and rotors, what was the torque specs for the caliper bolts, and did you grease the pins so they won't get stuck next time.
Thanks for the comment. I bought the discs/rotors and pads from AutoDoc. I looked online for the torque spec, I checked a few sites and came up with 77 Ft.Lbs, but please confirm this for yourself, and if you should apply thread lock or not. I didn’t apply grease to the pins, I just thoroughly cleaned them.
Thanks for the comment. I did think that was probably the case, as the electronic handbrake is on the rear. I wasn’t sure if the service mode also did something else, especially as the car has brake by wire.
Thanks for the video. I really like the angle you filmed from. It is very easy to see and understand what's being done.
Thanks, it’s not always easy to film and still see what is happening.
Thanks far posting.

Thanks for the information, I appreciate it. 👍🏼

Can you provide links to the store(s) you got the rotors and pads from?
Hi, I ordered from Autodoc, hopefully the link should be attached.
www.autodoc.co.uk/
Whats the torque spec on the caliper bolts?
Hi, The torque specs I found online said 77 ft/Ib.
Please do confirm this for yourself though, as they could be incorrect.
Parking brakes do not need to be disengaged when changing the front pads.
Thanks for the comment.
