    Follow instructions below for no computer program needed installation. If doing rear just replace step 3. With rear brake replacement steps and service mode is not needed for just the front.
    1. Enter service mode via infotainment
    2. Disconnect battery in rear via quick negative disconnect.
    3. Change brakes (open brake fluid reservoir, remove 2 pins, unbolt 2 T55 bolts holding caliper, carefully remove caliper then pads, unplug wear sensor, install new pads, reinsert pins, reconnect wear sensor, bolt caliper back on)
    4. PUMP your brakes before reconnecting battery or you will have abs errors.
    5. Reconnect battery, turn on car ignition only! if service doesn't exit follow step 6.
    6. Exit service mode via infotainment by toggling up and down parking brake.
    7. Start car, turn wheel all the way left and all the way right, then turn off and on.
    8. Follow pad instructions for bedding procedure.

    I followed these steps and it worked on my 21 Stelvio. At first I thought it didn't because the entire Christmas tree lit up. I placed it in reverse moved it 20 feet and turned it off for 10 minutes. When I started it again all lights were off...its been perfect since

    What’s the rotor dimensions for a 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia Q4?
    I’ve looked everywhere to find an alternative to dealership prices.

    Giulia is somehow complicated car, for example I changed shock absorbers basic not electrical and after there was errors and check lights ))) especially from ABS , but I start to ride and all lights disappeared after 3-4 minutes. The point is why car can give check lights if u didn’t touch not sensors not nothing electrical?!

    I just did my front brakes yesterday (12/16/23) and every code came up. I researched the internet for solutions and found your video a day late. I am interested in getting the "Gray Cable" but can not find one in the U.S. on Amazon. Could you please provide a good link for the correct gray cable. Thank You. 2018 Alfa Quad with a manufacture date of 10/2017 so should not have a SGW.

      Here you go it’s in the package they don’t sell it individually
      You still need the obd2 to laptop cable to put the grey adapter on I recommend the obd SX

    I did my front brakes and rotors without using service mode or disconnecting the battery.....all that is for the rear brakes and there's a way to do it without service mode

      If the abs detects any air difference when the car is on it will throw a permanent code in the abs module. This videos is for the front a rear overall procedure. If you don’t disconnect your risking getting the code and it’s not an easy one to remove. I’ve seen 4 in the last 2 weeks on the FB groups and 2.0 chat stuck with abs lights in their dash because they pushed back the calipers and the car mistook it as air change in the brake system. Unless you have the software to clear don’t chance it just disconnect.

      I recommend stock, but for cost savings R1 with the slotted or geomat, stay away from drilled.

    Hei, I dont understand how you pomp the brake without the batery beeing conect if the Giulia brakes are electronic, the pedal its not atach to any liquid circuit

    • @alfamods2.0T
      @alfamods2.0T  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Just trust me and do it if not you will end up with abs codes that need software or a dealer to remove. It does push the caliper in even with the battery off.

    this video scks doesnt show anything how to remove the pads..

    • @alfamods2.0T
      @alfamods2.0T  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      If you don’t know how to remove pads you honestly shouldn’t be doing this brake job they fall right out after you remove the pins. If you mess up you will trigger ABS permanent codes and your calipers won’t work. I’ve had at least 4 independents mechanics contact me after they do the brake job and can’t clear their clients codes so I highly suggest you take it to Alfa before you end up paying a ton more. It doesn’t bother me that you said the video sucks, Just take the advice so you don’t end up paying a ton more when you can’t clear the codes. Even high end diagnostic tools don’t work, only MES and dealerships Witech.
