Thank you for including what we are actually looking for in this review. Temps! I watched 3 reviews of this card first that didn't think to mention temperature and just compared performance relative to 4070ti etc. 90 degrees really is quite hot for the hotspot max.
Sent my back my Palit Dual 4070 Super (2 fan) because it was always reaching the temp limit of 84°C , I have to spin the fans at 3000RPM to keep it under 80°C!! Anyways, the rtx 5070 will be too expensive for me in my region. Would u recommend the zotac 2 fan 4070S over the Palit one? Thanks. I paid 728 USD for mine :/
There was a reported issue before where manufacturers were using cheap thermal paste and pads on RTX 4000 series cards. After a few months of usage, temperatures get much worse
I have this card since Feb 2024. Hotspot and memory junction temps are high nga. I'm thinking of voiding the warranty soon to apply new paste and thermal putty
review i was lookin for quite long time (this and asus dual evo) :) still cant decide which one is the best sub245mm 4070s GPU (sadly all these OTHER youtube review doesnt even bother to measure hotspot, let alone memory temps)
I have this same GPU and love it...the 16pin isn't that difficult to take out...and my temps have never gone above 74 deg. Celsius is you know how to work your fan curve...and im triple A gaming at upscaled 4k
Hi. Good for you if you can easily remove the 16pin. One commenter here also had the same issue. I guess not your issue doesn’t mean it’s not an issue for everyone.
I am calm. I am just giving another POV. Your statement “it isn’t that difficult” implies that what I said in the vid is wrong. It is difficult to remove if you have fat fingers like mine, and I stand by it. And again, if you don’t have that difficulty/issue, good for you really (not sarcastic). However, as this is a “review”, it should be flagged out to viewers and maybe to Zotac as well. This is a design flaw that I encountered only in this card (out of all cards that I have tested so far) and this is something that Zotac could mitigate in the future - in case they are able to stumble this small channel of mine.

@@marvin5325 palit is just bad designs, only someone are want a cheapest as possible would choose that, i still prefer Zotac and Inno3D for a cheaper 4070S.

Palit's 4070S is significantly hotter than this. But consider other reports as well.
@manongunboxing thanks. I'll go with the Zotac one. Will wait for CES though

been searching for a proper zotac 4070s review & here it is , non native english speakers are the goats , as for temps , uv will do the job

From all the reviews I've seen, the Inno3D 4070 Super seems to be the coolest and most silent dual fan. I think it's 250mm though
Good review
Hi, would you recommend getting this one or the Gigabyte Windforce OC one? Also is there any coil whine?
hi, sorry for the late reply but I don't have data for Windforce and so I can't recommend at this point.
How is the noise if this zotac twin edge card?
Hi, sorry I have no direct answer as I don’t really do noise tests. Given that, it wasn’t worth noting on open test bench.
i could tell you that in 2-3 days.. order it shopee but oc deition same brand.
