This is my all time favourite series to watch, nothing will ever compete. I've seen this playthrough in it's entirety so many times now and it is still fun to come back to it. I've fond memories of simply grabbing a coffee, sitting down and putting these on and it is such bliss. I'm really hoping we get another x-com modpack playthrough with both of the boys :)
Embarking on the terrifying year-long journey to rewatch this. May god have mercy on my soul. Also, man pre-2020 times hit different. What an innocent care-free life we had.
We used to say the same about pre-2010, and pre-2000, and pre-xxxx... Think that's just growing up and getting older, our grandparents probably said the same about the 20s, 30s, etc. That said, 2020 definitely feels like a big one. The bad times aren't gonna stop coming, which means we can't stop fighting them back with the good times!
@@toasty4000000 Mate, I and everyone I know who were born in the early '90s, look back at the past 4 years vs even just the few years pre-COVID like a completely different beast than the whole decade pre-2020, and pre 2010 etc. it's separate from the 'decades' thing, it just coincidentally started at the end of the last decade. The world becoming less carefree has been steadily happening for the past 20 years because of identity politics and the cultural degradation of social behavior through cancel culture as fueled by generations growing up on internet forums and being encouraged to victimize themselves, whilst discouraged from taking ownership of the problems they have dealing with certain things. But as far as pre-2020 (pre-COVID) goes, it's a whole different beast that we might or might not recover from - but people aged like 15 years between 2020 and 2023, and simultaneously it's felt like the world has stood still in the meantime. Muzzle energy, and energy transfer characteristics of ACP and parabellum are similar enough that different loads of each have larger diffefence from each other in effect on target than the two rounds from each other. Wahey! Refresh squad! As someone who lived adjacent to DC for a good bit, I can say it's near the coast. Unless you count Chesapeake Bay, in which case yes. Yes it is on the coast.
Its near Chesapeake Bay, so yeah it is near the coast. Also these bois said Washington at first which confused me, as it too is also on the coast (albeit the opposite coast)
As someone who lives near DC currently, I would argue the Chesapeake Bay counts as on the coast, because it makes DC ocean-accessible. It doesn't have beaches like most places on the coast do, and is quite far inland, but I would argue the most important thing to being on the coast is having water access to the ocean in a way that allows boat to travel directly to it.
I was wondering if you guys had any plans to play Intro the Breach on this channel like you'd mentioned, I would be really excited to see it personally, and I think other people would too.
In the animated series 'Roswell Conspiracies: Aliens, Myths and Legends', which I loved as a kid, all various mythological monsters and beasties turned out to be different alien races that migrated to earth in tribes and had become the source for all legends about werewolves, vampires, yetis, etc, etc.
This is a surprise, old fan of this game when it first came out.. I install my copy today and see if i can get the mod working. Looks like fun. Thanks Guys
1:28 3 of the reasons I have for why Washington D.C. should be considered near the coast are A: Because there's a massive fucking river that you can sail a Cruiser up that goes from literally the center of D.C. down to the Chesapeake Bay, B: Because it's near enough for a ballistic missile sub to do whatever that flat angle trajectory super fast missile launch thing is (basically a launch within a certain number of miles of the Chesapeake can hit D.C. in 15 minutes, not nearly enough time for anyone to react) and C: Because the Chesapeake extends well inland of what the XCOM Files map shows as the coast. Trust me, it's closer than it looks.

o7
This was the only stream I ever overcame the timezones difference to get chumped up in. Should be a great rewatch.
Third rewatch reporting!
D.C. Is in an inlet that leads to the ocean, so yes most people would consider it on the coast. It is a port city that goods flow in and out of.

Me too, turning 22 in 3 months bro 🤝 stay strong, soldier
This series just finished, and I just now have gotten around to watch it all. Exciting! I love a finished series :)
There are 2 rules to remember if you want to have a good time:
Rule #1: Never run out of Colt .45
Rule #2: Never forget Rule #1
Colts don't get extended clips like Glocks and they aren't as cool as Magnums.
Rule #1: Spam shotguns
Rule #2: More shotguns
I love spamming shotguns early in the game, feels nice to be able to hit stuff. Slugs do decent damage too, and range penalty for them isn't that horrible
That's just a universal rule for life in general. Substitute .45 ACP for 9mm Para or .357 Magnum where necessary.

Gotta love the giant spider hiding in plain sight. They probably thought it was a bush or something.
rewatching this series for like the 5th time and god damn I love it and it definitely starts strong with Ben's WereWife joke

They figure this out later in the stream.
This is a thing???? THANKS!

From the same guy who did X-Pirates. Which takes at least 6-10 years to do, and is just as mission full.
Actually, its another guy. That one is Dioxine, this is Solarius Scorch.
You have two years before the invasion begins, not ten.
Its actually higher, used to be more like 1 and a half years in older versions
Holy cow the whole beginning shpiel with Washington DC and then London Beach had me smiling like crazy

Once more into the breach we go!
oh boy, rewatching this masterpiece and seeing how hip and young Lewis used to be...
Oh man I can tell this series is gonna be a good one
Love this premise.... X-files etc... and of course Lew Lew and Sir Ben are an awesome pairing... hilarious great new series!
I just started another playthrough of xcom files and thought why not watch this again while I'm at it.
Same! The mod had come a long way since those days, but it never lost those x-com files vibes

Yeah but in context It would mean. A person who turns into a wife.
Time for a rewatch
Were-wife. Love that. Gonna use that lol :D
Glad we get to see the management in this one
it was set in washington state, not washington dc, on the complete other side of the country
Andrew Hiebert yeah but the fbi hq is in D.C. and that was only a few episodes I think
This will end in a massacre, I can sense it. I'll enjoy every moment of it until then though...

It's actually a New Zealand flag Lewis, there's no big star underneath the union jack.
That is an NZ flag not Australian (NZ has 4 stars and Australian has five)
The Austrian flag has no stars

Yes it does 🇦🇺
Lorenzo Lodge 🇦🇹
TheAlmightyDave, Democratic State of Austria probably does. Ave, true to Kaiser.
6 stars actually (the eight sided one under the union jack)

Honestly I feel mulder would try to talk to the thing first. But since these Aren't mulder and scully, then who knows.
Instead we'll get Yorkshire Farmer going up to the giant spiders shouting *EY OOP LADS, IT'S ME AGAIN*
"It's dead! It's finally fucking dead! Oh god, Anna. My sweet Ann-"
"Hey."
"AH JESUS CHRIST!"
"So~... do you mind if we take that corpse?"

Hey, my first base in OpenXcom XcomFiles was called FBI HQ, too. WHAT ARE THE ODDS
pretty high considering the X-Files are FBI...
nice to see UFO: EBEMY UNKNOWN
awesome,
How many channels are Lewis in anyway?
Well I mean Washington DC is only about 20km from the coast so I would agree with Lewis more than Ben
Lewis is totally high in this video.
need this in my life
Still do
How did you get that international flight to stop and wait until tomorrow morning like that?
That's classified.
make some werewolf agents.
rend and tear, as well as file IW-134 forms in triplicate
Where can I go to download this game+modpack?
21:03 are you thinking of supernatural?

google it 27 miles from the Chesapeake bay

Alchemical Games it's hosted unedited on their twitch for free viewing
Uhh... You do know the full stream replay is available FOR FREE on twitch?
Yes I do, but there are problems with that.
1. It gets buried under the other streams
2. It's only available for free, for one month. Unless you subscribe, you can't binge watch them
3. It's not youtube
If they're putting the time and effort into splicing the video up into sections, editing it, and putting it on youtube anyway, they should capitalize on both what they need, and what we want. It's the definition of a win-win
See, the problem with that is that they get less views the whole stream way. This way, they get 20+ views from 1 person, since you have to watch a whole series rather than 1 stream video.
