I had the pleasure of running into The GOAT Ronnie Coleman, in Boyonton Beach, at a movie theater one evening. Got two pictures with him. He has always been my fitness idol. 🗣️LIGHTWEIGHT!!!
Ronnie's always been an easy man to respect. Obviously, he trained like a freak in his bodybuilding days, but the fact he still makes time to train now is something. Building that physique destroyed his back, hampered his ability to walk, and he lives with a lot of pain, but he still goes to the gym and maintains a positive attitude.
I watched the full interview. Ronnie said he initially injured his back in high school playing football. Later, he injured his neck which wasn't as bad but then going on to play college football at Grambling didn't help. Then of course, lifting millions of pounds of weight over his career added to it. He said he believed if he never injured his back in high school, he wouldn't've needed all of the back surgeries after he retired from bodybuilding. Hearing him talk about having 13 surgeries since 2017 with several of them done on his neck and back was terrible to hear but he talks about all of it like they were minor procedures. His attitude about everything is amazing.
I think the most impressive thing about Ronnie is that despite his frail health he always remains positive and determined. he's a real inspiration to me
Single ply suit be damned……Folks don’t get how impressive that squat is. At his age then, 5 weeks out from Mr Olympia & cutting his weight / calories is nuts. Plus it wasn’t on a smith. He un-racked that weight, stepped back with it, got his reps and stepped back forward with it…….Big Ron was just different.
Yeah the suit and the knee wraps made a big difference when it comes to the weight when squatting, but that's still an INSANE squat for someone 5 weeks out. We're still talking like 600-650 for a few reps a few weeks out if he wasn't using the wraps and suit. Ronnie was eating more than most guys though when cutting. Ronnie was always really really strong before a show. He didn't lost much strength at all compared to his off season. He came in at 290 pounds while being in some of the best condition that anyone had seen in a long time. 2003 was unbelievable. 2003 was the most unbeatable bodybuilder ever.
Good to know some of the behind the scenes. I used to read some of these magazines to try to find out what lifts the bodybuilder were doing. Hopefully, Mr. Ronnie Coleman is walking on his own by next year! Glad to see he's still lifting!
The wisest thing that should be on everyone mind currently should be to invest in different streams of income that doesn't depend on the govt. Especially with the current economic crisis around the word. This is still a good time to invest in Gold, silver and digital currencies(BTC, ETH..).
I agree with you and I believe that the secret to financial stability is having the right investment ideas to enable you earn more money, I don’t know who agrees with me but either way I recommend either real estate or crypto and stocks.
You're right, I operate a wide- range of Investments with help from My Financial Adviser. My advice is to get a professional who will help you, plan and enhance your management skills. For the record, working with Matthew Roszak, has been an amazing experience.
Wow. I'm a bit perplexed seeing Matthew been mentioned here also Did not know he has been good to so many people too this is wonderful, I'm in my fifth trade with him and it has been super.
I began my investment journey at the age of 38, primarily through hard work and dedication. Now at the age of 40, I am thrilled to share that my passive income exceeded $100k in a single year for the first time. This success reinforces the importance of the advicmonth e mentioned earlier. It is not about achieving quick wealth, but rather ensuring long-term financial prosperity.
From $7K to $35K that's the minimum range of profit return every week I thinks it's not a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay bills and take care of my family.i cant thank you enough
I remember the documentary on him when the one bodybuilder said he didnt like trainging in metroflex gym. It was dirty and hot in there. He said thats why Ronnie was who he was. I believe that 100%. Those type of gyms give you a different mental.
Jay Cutler said Ronnie was always so positive. Can definitely see how positive Ronnie is.
Appreciate Shay doing this interview and taking back to that ol school iron jungle.. 🫡

Shannon, I’ve seen enough of your shows to see how much you’re loved by your guests. Fair honest, that’s who you are.
