After watching your previous videos I pulled out my injectors out of my 1hz and had them serviced. Thanks to you I followed the order the injector line are removed and reassembled. Thank s
Hey Will! I hope everything is still going great on the 105 and that the engine is operating as it should! I see no video for a couple months so just checking in to see how its been!
@WillsLandcruiser hey mate im looking at getting pdi intercooler for my 100 fte wonder about road worthy and stuff if you have to cut the holes? Do u know any thing about this at all?
Will you are an inspiration to many Toyota Enthusiasts. Hey Bro I am writing in from Papua New Guinea. You probably didn't know that we have more land cruisers here than Australia 🙂. 105 series with a 1HD FTE Engine. That's the best franken cruiser ever! I am surprised Toyota never opted to make this a stock option. What are you using for Brakes? Have you considered getting a big Bendix Brake Kit with bigger rotors made specifically for land cruiser. That would give you better stopping power to control the extra ponies.
PDI supply a different pipe for a CT26 Style turbo, should suit better, also when i cut my holes through i folded the cut flap back to protect the radiator. thats what is specified in the instructions
Great job Will! Few questions: So you got +70 injectors, are you happy with them? Looks like bigger turbo? Builds up boost slow or fast? Are you using boost/fuel cut defender? I have fuel cut defender from MWR4X4 from Spain. It is electronic and you can also adjust fuel flow with it. Really happy with it😊 Looking forward your next episode 💪
+70s seem to be great so far! Doesn’t seem to soot too much or have any issues in that regard. Running a G turbo and we see boost build from 2k revs and the peak power seems to be around 2800 revs. I’m using a boost defender of sorts but it’s just a cheapie from PDI- $80 and stops any fuel cut issues. In the next video I’ll install a unichip and I must say it runs a LOT better with that
@@WillsLandcruiser WOW! Just wow! Thank you!😎 Here in Europe: NO Gturbo. NO +70 or +30 injectors NO Unichip. ( in UK closest but with NO live dyno as far as I know.) Luckily I can order all these from you guys. ❤️

Epic job Will. Kinda entertaining to watch. But great to see someone having a go and succeeding.
Man. Pain in the bum to pull the box but at least you found the problem before you had a million parts on the bench 😊

@@RoamOverlanding all going well thank you! Been a bit busy and slack on the videos lately but hoping to release some more soon. Thanks for checking 😊
Great job! Looking forward to a performance review.
Great work, seems like a handy brother and Dad helped, great memories there. Kinda glad cars were simpler when I was young.
Definitely lots of helping hands! Even my 1HZ was a lot simpler… the electrical stuff is a nightmare 😂

Nice work 👏
Purring like a kitten 😍
Awesome work.
You will never need another car again as anything else would be a downgrade
You’re right about that- finally running my dream setup
Great motor

not 100% sure, but at 8:00 the turbo ic pipe should be under the air intake, not beside it.
If you can show me how you made that fit, I’ll be forever grateful
@@WillsLandcruiser seen it on the 1hz ic kit but unsure if its the same for the fte
@@xcz867 not sure. Could have been sent the wrong pipe. Feel like it would fit with the PDI airbox
Awesome content and I’m sure you’ll be loving the new set up once fully tuned etc.
what’s a rough guide to the total cost for the whole conversion??
Once you add up engine, performance parts, exhaust, gearbox, transfer case, conversion loom, $30k would be cheap.
@@WillsLandcruiser thanks for the reply Will. Great conversion and can’t wait to see videos of it out on the tracks 👍🏻
Nice work mate. Just curious, what's your background - are you a mechanic? Your knowledge is ridiculous good !
Thanks! I did part of an apprenticeship but life had other plans. Most of my knowledge is self-taught or passed down from dad
@@WillsLandcruiser nice mate
Well done mate, big job but great result and love the note it puts out. I may have missed it but does it have 3in exhaust?
Thanks! I’m really happy with how it sounds. Yes it has a 3” red back exhaust
Where did you mount your egt sensor
The exhaust has a pre-tapped thread ready for the probe to screw straight into. Just below the dump
What exhaust you have on there?
It’s a red back exhaust. Definitely rate it
Great job Will!
