  • A follow up to the video I put out on Knoll Beach, which I fished in autumn 2019, trying to catch gilthead bream. This video covers three sessions in early July (recorded on 9.07.20 and 16.07.20) at Knoll Beach and Middle Beach on Studland Peninsula, Dorset (UK). This time, the range of species caught in the shallow clear waters, includes wrasse and black bream.
    You may be interested in watching the Knoll Beach video which gives the locational details:

    and my video on bream fishing at Hurst Spit, which includes a tutorial on tying the bream rigs I use in this video:

    9:36, the `entitled` walkers are completely oblivious to the fact you not only have a fish on, but they may well be walking into your line. Really enjoy your videos Rod.

    Another cracking video and well worth waiting for. Some lovely catches - in particular the Wrasse - and that Colmic Arcadia looks to be a sweet rod. Can't believe you have a "thumbs down" (as I write this at 1 pm on 10 August) - perhaps it's from the couple who deliberately walked in front of you as you were playing a fish! Please tell me that you visited Dorset for a couple of days rather than driving all that way to fish for a day!? Keep safe (especially when walking over weed encrusted rocks!) and keep healthy. Cheers. Ken

      @rodsangleuk6283  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks again Ken. My parents live in the west country, so I stay with them when I'm fishing that way - handy for Somerset as well as Dorset and Hampshire coastlines.

      To take them, they need to be over 42cm Paul. I like to bake them stuffed with cherry tomatoes, onions, and peppers, in tin foil; or filleted and fried in breadcrumbs.

    Thanks rod for this most enjoyable video ..I wondered if you noticed if any bait to be dug there at low tide ? Looks a great venue

    • @rodsangleuk6283
      @rodsangleuk6283  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching and commenting Arthur. Good venue, but all the action comes in short bursts. The whole of Studland is managed by the National Trust, so permission may be needed for digging?
