Your skill at this fangame makes me INCREDIBLY jealous. Not only do you employ usage of extremely aggressive playstyles, it also seems like this longplay was created before any of the patch updates the game received. I know how brutal Waddle Knight is, having beaten the first 10 bosses before any of the patch updates (I could only everything after that minus the True Arena when Easy Mode was implemented and a bunch of bugs were fixed), so seeing you defeat the True Final Boss not just with Normal Mode but after a deadly boss gauntlet left me in complete awe. Waddle Knight is a hidden gem of a fangame, how one of the most fangames I have ever played is so unknown is beyond me. The controls are really tight, the platforming sections (although annoying at times) are decently enjoyable and challenging, and the bosses are incredibly designed, and also absurdly difficult but fair (for the most part).
Thanks! This game was crazy difficult, especially the true Kirby fight, but eventually I got in a mode and focused on the boss patterns (though I still died a ton). And when I say the true arena took me a lot of attempts, I mean A LOT. I had to take a break for a while before I continued. It’s a great game, but definitely not beginner friendly.
@@thebluebeetley5320 True Kirby scoffs at the likes of MaidBot-666 and RoDL Magolor, it is on a whole other tier of brutal. Other notably difficult bosses (IMO) are Galactic Nova and Phase 2 of the Dark Matter rematch, but TBH all the bosses in this fangame are absurdly difficult - Waddle Knight does not pull any punches. Above three months ago, I beat True Kirby outside the Arena with Easy Mode (the victory attempt video is public, but I also have a playlist of like >30 failed attempts on just True Kirby alone lol) - by far their most deadly attack is the improved Hypernova, half the success of a run pretty much depends on how well one does on that attack. But after watching this longplay, I'm kinda inspired to come back to this game, and maybe start looking into playing its sequel (which is very different from the original, from what I have seen). THX for the inspiration! :D
@@thebluebeetley5320 Also, here's a bug I found in Waddle Knight that still isn't patched currently: 1. Go to Holo Defense API's arena 2. There should be a slightly dented-in tile on the bottom-left corner of the arena 3. Hug the left wall, then hold down to crouch 4. Press the left button whilst still holding down to crouch - you should move left slightly 5. Release left, then release down This should allow you to clip inside the wall - weird things happen.
@@thebluebeetley5320 oops my old device broke down about a month ago and i forgot to save the data, guess ill replay the game again - shouldn't be too bad tho given that ive already played through it before

This game was amazing, I checked it out and have almost completely 100%ed it, barring Danger Nightmare. Which by the way, any tips? Phase 4 (the final bit) keeps kicking my butt. He heals and teleports too fast, and the lightning/wave move tends to kill me.
There's A LOT I could say about Nightmare. All I'll say for the lightning/wave attack is that I never really found a consistent way to not get hit. I either just bounce on Nightmare and then tried to stall in the air until the waves were manageable (50% success rate) or I just stayed on the ground and focused on the dodging the waves (50% success rate). You just need to constantly be moving and focus on positioning yourself properly for each attack. Sorry if that was a bit hope it helps 🫠
@@thebluebeetley5320FIGURED IT OUT! Striking him from below while keeping an eye on where the lightning would strike is much easier and safer than pogoing. As for the healing thing, it cancels out when you get a hit in. Nail his movements down, and then it turns into a battle of who'll break first. After 50+ tries, I mastered the game! Hope you had fun with it as well!
Thanks for this! I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
Of course, it was a great experience!
wow, the truth is that the game is quite good
Yes
I like that theres an indicator for each hologram you defeat, first the ice, then the fire melting the ice into water to set up the whale fight
Love the mass attack references love that game 👍

Mass Attack sprites are so cool, this game is like a remaster of old and new Kirby games in a GBA/DS style, which is my favorite
Same, Mass Attack has some of the prettiest sprite work of any Kirby game.
It's neat how a lot of the sprites are from Mass Attack
Same, I love that game
Pink objects can be speared nice cup head reference
