I find the fact Green was able to overpower the noteblock staff several times by using music pretty cool.
You can have as much of a world ending weapon as you want, but a master could still overpower you through sheer skill.
Pretty sure the world ending staff is only as powerful as the block that's in it. A noteblock isn't that powerful I'd imagine, but the power of music and sound, sure in this context

Between the notes flowing together perfectly while he chased the silverfish, to the perfect transitions between songs, to the fact that all those note blocks were just onhand offscreen, the beating green took was just for show to make it convincing.
