I love this re-imagining of the ComVirus/HoloDefAPI concept, but executed in a unique way! Just this alone looks more epic than the original WaddKnight's bosses, which were already epic in their own right. I love how it's a major visual improvement over the original WaddKnight's version of the fight :D -and I also love how they no longer do contact dmg yeeeeaaaahhhh-
Never seen this game before, but it looks like fun! Loved this boss in Crystal Shards, and very cool what you've done with them here! Only recommendation would be to have occasional moments where the boss comes down to your level- or conjures platforms for you to ascend on- so the player can mix up their attack strategy! I don't know your full moveset, but only ever using the up-spear attack might start to feel grating!
The pixel ratio has always been off in Waddle Knight, and I've never intended it to look 1-to-1 with actual Kirby games. Unless I really dig deep into custom sprites, keeping all the sprites the same size would mean that I wouldn't be able to make nearly as many bosses in the game that I have.
The plot of Waddle Knight 2 isn't too important compared to the gameplay, but it does exist, it just won't be implemented until the game is close to being finished. For a little hint on who's bringing most of these bosses to the table, I'll just say that someone is tired of the inhabitants of Dreamland being lazy again...
I hear hollow *knight* sounds.... particularly dash and damage sounds....... coincidence? With a turle like _Waddle _*_Knight......_* I think NOT!! Edit: nail art and dreamnail sounds too! AM I THE ONLY ONE????
Yeah those are Hollow Knight sounds, Hollow Knight is obviously a big inspiration for Waddle Knight, so I decided to use a few of the sound effects, too.

While it technically is a boss in 64 I’m pretty sure this one would be more presented as Robobot’s one

The boss idea is great here but some of the sprites could use a rework. Hell, I could help.
