As a Scandinavian I´m glad to hear your finishing remarks about us wee peoples of the Nordics.
Normally all we hear about is the Us Army- everybody´s a Seal, a Marine or a Green Beret you know, the Brits - mostly SAS and the parachuters and the Scottish montain units and then of course the French and their Foreign Legion,- make no mistake about it though,- in spite of all joking the French can be real nasty when they feel like it,-so you including the Austrians is a welcome change,- and mountain people should always be respected in ther natural habitat.
For the Nordics, the ones i know of, would be,- in Denmark in particular the King´s Guards, the Jaeger Corps ( like the Brit´s Hunter´s force) and the Frogmen ( aka Danish Seals), the Swedes would have them to with special regard to their Navy people and their submarine crew ( everybody in Sweden´s been practicing naval skirmish against the beast from the east for 80 years), The Norwegian would also have their mountain corps including cold weather people ( it´s the Nordics after all) and then of course the Finns - who more than anybody else up here know what Orc invasion actually feels like,- and they are not having it - ever again!
Weather forecast joke about the Finns:
" Yesterday was cold, today is gonna be cold and tomorrow is also going to be cold.......
Wait a moment,- that was the one for yesterday... here´s the one for today:
Yesterday was cold, today is also going to be cold and tomorrow is going to be really lovely cold!"

that was West Germany back in the day.
Fulda was the expected route for Warsaw armor to enter Western Europe. everything was aimed at Fulda.
I was stationed at a Nike/Hercules Battery and even those were aimed at Fulda.
also, I completed a Winter Mountain Operations School in Garmisch, West Germany. two things I took away from my experience, the Alps are absolutely magnificent and fuck fighting in the mountains. especially in the winter.

In addition to the resilient and well-trained infantry, there is one important aspect that has not yet been sufficiently appreciated by Western armies. These are small and cheap drones for various purposes. In the hands of such infantry, drones nullify tanks and armored vehicles; successfully replace artillery and aerial reconnaissance; capable of delivering small loads and increasing the range of communication to hard-to-reach places... And most importantly, they are massively available to minutemen and militia.

Never been in war but I was conscript in the swedish army -93/94. I don't think we ever saw ourselves as badasses. The americans however were badass, and had all the cool gear!🙂
But yes, we did get plenty of cold weather conditioning. I have never been that cold, tired and hungry, before or after. Being exposed to cold weather for long periods of time sucks, even if you do everything right to avoid hypothermia😂

Those who attend the German War and staff college study Clausowitzs “Principles of War “ book about Germanys limited ability to wage war successfully. If Adolph had attended he’d have never invaded Russia. There’s another argument but that’s another video. Basically Germany has limited manpower and resources so in order to wage war successfully they have to fight limited wars.

Right, Rome didn’t expand their empire over the course of a decade, although I don’t know the details of the first decade of Roman expansion,
My point though, JP Morgan, the Rockefellers, Bush family, etc. are playing an extremely long game, laying groundwork over generations and doing it quietly, so when we decide it’s time to fight back, they own the military industrial complex, nato, and major actors of world politics, their massive federal bureaus, cia, etc. will have no interest in the greater good. we’ll be on our own and without a huuuuge rebellion fought globally and simultaneously, we will accomplish nothing but our own imprisonment, but the dumb-bots will fight for the conquerors till it’s irrelevant that they might see the truth only for Boston dynamic droid enhanced UN led forces to squash any local uprising faster than they can become a formidable resistance, it all started in the work places, then covid, then a decrepit puppet of American government, they cheered while their bonds were tied, I just woke up, im rambling

problem is, if adolf hadn't attacked the soviets, stalin would have opened the eastern front... in the middle of poland (germany wasn't the only one invading poland at the time), with momentum on their side...
it was more a question of who moved first and germany didn't have the strategic depth to buffer a soviet advance

Yeah unfortunately America’s military is so over blown it’s hard to give everyone high quality training. I mean our size matters and numbers matter cause every person with a rifle is a threat But if you can give your entire military of 20,000(5,000 infantry troops) hyper focused training skills they’ll out preform 100,000 regular troops all day. Kinda like a teacher that can better teach 10 students with more attention rather than trying to meet that quality with 40 students.

    • @jerrywayne72

Our structure was established while your belly’s were full. Shit rolls down hill and they rely on the time needed for that to happen. Segregation of awareness. Segregation of military structure? Many battles we’ve lost though awareness was matched. Quality is very important and we lost that fight in 2000. Many of quality sacrificed by choice before then. Many made their beds along this path. The substance of man was corrupted so we fed them what they know. While keeping our circles small.
      Until we meet again
