Meet the 21-year old Christmas light set

This 50-bulb Christmas incandescent light set is my favorite, it is bought from a supermarket nearby my home in 2002. This light set has 5 different colors: red, green, blue, yellow and white, plus one clear flashing bulb. The painting of the bulbs is not completely diffused and the filament is visible when turned on.
The white bulbs in colored light sets are quite rare because it is usually available in non-musical 35-bulb or 50-bulb sets only.
The flashing bulb delivers the flashing effect of the whole light set, unfortunately the connection wire of this bulb had broke in first year of use, making the flashing effect of the light set no longer possible because there is no replacement flashing bulb.
There was a remarkable bulb which painted in blue, due to a manufacturing fault, instead of a regular spherical shape, it looked like a peach. Unfortunately this bulb had failed in 2012.
This is the 21st year that this light set being used in Christmas. A number of bulbs had been failed in those years of use:
1x red
1x green
5x blue (3 fails in first 2 years)
1x yellow (broken by accident instead of EOL)
1x white (broken by accident instead of EOL)
1x flashing bulb (broken by accident instead of EOL)
Only 4 spare bulbs are provided by the set (all colors except red), some of the replacement bulbs are brought from other light sets, which are no longer used.

love these spherical incandescent christmas lights. i have a set of 30 of them but they’re painted with non clear paint and a nearly infinite backup of replacement bulbs

I also had those non-clear painted bulbs set, one was 35-bulb while the other one was 100-bulb. The 100-bulb set could not lit due to controller failure while the 35-bulb set had too many EOL bulbs.

They are plug-in bulbs.
