@@JustCantSitStill so right,I think it just bullshit they did this to improve has milage.. yet when you upgrade and delete this crap the trucks run stronger and they get better milage,imagine that???
I know the L87 had DFR and the L86 has DOD, is that really the only difference between the two? Are the blocks the same, Minus the vacuum pump ports? I plan on deleting DFR/DOD anyways, but my L86 is trash, and I can get a good deal on an L87.

Blocks are the same to me. Valley,timing cover ,phaser are different. I would pick either or no issues.
