Well I think with the second shelf I can do 6-7 easy in there. I only have the second shelf in the far side though. The smoke stack is 7” and it’s 5’ tall. And yes it has a dampener on it. I’m about to build another one in April too🤙🏼
That’s a nice pit!! good work man! I found your channel when you started building your last one. I really got into offset stick burners a couple years ago and have spent thousands on higher end offset the last couple years. in-fact I’m having one built right now. I have a smaller standard flow and my new one will be a reverse flow with a big warning box on it. I’ve been playing around welding for a year or so but i’m to chicken to start building my own even though that is my end goal. Anyways it looks great and can’t wait to see more videos with the new pit.
Thank you sir! Appreciate that. I just sold the first one I built and he got a killer deal on it. I am building a little 80 gallon 24” reverse flow now. Can’t wait to finish it and show you all this one. It’s going to be pretty cool. I’ve only been welding a lot a year but really feel comfortable now knowing my settings and speed and all. Just do it!
@@kansascitysmoked6263 I did build a pretty cool little table top grill out of two 5 gal propane tanks to practice on and i’m getting better for sure. Soon I’ll be sporting my own custom pit lol. anyways Keep at it man your getting better and better.
Looks good. About to get my 150 build going. Question, did you cut your doors in the location where the tank bungs were? Or did you try to avoid those?
Very nice job.
Looks great to me brother
Nice work sir 👍🏿
Appreciate you. Thanks 🤙🏼💯
Looks veey nice my man. Wish I had a spot to make something like this.
How you do the door vertical bars?? like how do you roll them at home
I cut them to length with a flexible tape measure and use clamps as I work up the vertical line
Great work man!!! I’m building one just like it. It’s my summer project. 😊.. how many pork huts can you fit in it max? TIA
The guy I sold it to cooked 10 on it last week. Not too bad all on the bottom rack 🤙🏼
@@kansascitysmoked6263 can’t wait to finish mine and use it. Thanks!
Looks damn good man. More guys should dive in, and build their own stuff...
You deserve to be proud! Well done.
Nice pit! What’s the brisket capacity on the lower racks?
6 briskets across the bottom. Most I’ve done at once so far is 4 briskets and 2 shoulders with room to spare.
Great smoker! What are the dimensions of the smoke chamber?
Thanks! It’s 76x24 around.
How many briskets can you fit on it comfortably? How tall is your smoke stack and is there a damper on top of it?

Hey man. Really like it! Did you decide on a heat deflector for the fire box or went without it?

And what kind of paint did you use?
