I don't know if it was a "Big 'ol nothing burger'. I completely enjoyed taking this trip and visiting the hotel vicariously through you and Hubben. The ghosts may not have shown up for you, but I did for the entertainment and you delivered.
Your ghost hunting was delightful, cracking jokes at the spirits expense, laughing at hubbin's nonbelief. Sadly, it was a big ol' nothing burger for finding spirits. The Fart spirit had a great cameo though.
Ashleigh, when ghost hunting, it helps to introduce yourself and let them know your intentions. For example, "My name is Ashleigh, and this is Blake. We're here because we want to communicate with you, hear your story, help you move on, etc. We mean no harm or disrespect." You also might get more activity if you're more respectful, saying "please" when you ask them to talk or do something and "thank you" if they respond. If anyone was there and willing to speak with you, they may have been put off by your offer to let them push or otherwise attack you because to assume they would be interested in doing so could have been seen as disrespectful. Just things to keep in mind for your next ghosty adventure! 👍 Big ol' nothing burger.

I spent the night at the Stanley once. What struck me more than anything is how small the spaces are. People really used to be tiny. I had to shower standing sideways because there was no room to stand up straight. Didn’t see any ghosts, but because the place was built with wood, it moans and groans. Estes Park is a nice getaway for a three-day weekend. I’ve done much Christmas shopping along the main drag.

I worked at a haunted hotel in Austin. (The Driskill) They had ghost tours and as an employee that place is definitely haunted. It would push people's rolling luggage out of the way. It was funny to me but jarring to a guest cause it seemed like someone kicked your bag pretty good from behind you.
