      From my childhood's experience about those claw machines, my best advice is: ”Don't wast any single coins on them!”
      Those claw machines are nothing less or more to fraud people's money away.

      I think all "luck games" are a scam. Personally, I am against everything like that (even if like here, it is harmless), because that kind of "luck game" can ruin a person and make them make horrible things.

    What a fabulous trip this week. The scenery was spectacular. I love travelling by ship so I really enjoyed the ferry. The cabin was spacious enough for 1 person but for 2 it would have been a bit cramped. I knew you wouldn't be able to resist the claw machine but they are very slippery plus the ship's vibration would also be against you. Everywhere you went, the food looked delicious and I hope you enjoyed making the video as much as I enjoyed watching it. Thank you for this amazing adventure.

      I’m so happy you enjoyed the video and the scenery! The ferry was a great experience, and you’re right about the cabin-it’s perfect for one but might feel a bit tight for two. And yes, those claw machines are always tricky! Thanks for watching and joining me on this adventure!

    I’ll still same I’m amazed by the Japanese concept of making the bathroom a universal drain room. Has to make clean up very easy and efficient.
    Making it not feel awkward like in America when you’re showering and all of a sudden get the bubble guts lol.
    That and I kind wish we could have the same toilets you bunch have. Makes cleaning up after number 2 so much simpler.

    • @experience_japan

    Looks like a wonderful crossing, and a great ship! I'm jealous of the experience, honestly. Last time I rode a ferry, it was about three years ago, sailing from the Australian mainland to Tasmania... the waves were as high as 12 metres tall, and everybody was _very_ sick. I think it was then that I realised that I'm not one for ferries.

    • @experience_japan
      @experience_japan  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I love your ferry vids. They're so cool. If I was in Japan, I'd definitely ride one. When I was young, I went on a lot of cruises so it kind of reminds me of that except my rooms always had a balcony. It was nice to be able to check the weather right when you woke up. Too bad there weren't any vending machines on those ships.

    What a great video, thank you so much ! I would love to take one of those ferries. Not because they are time effecient or cheaper than flying (which is not the case at all), but for the experience. But unfortunately, as I get very badly sea sick at the slightest little wave, and than cannot stop being sick (and no medication helps), I will be just enjoying videos like this :-). I find it great, that those ferries often have public baths, a game arcade, and in the best cases, not only food vending machines, but also a restaurant.

    The main character lived in a paradise for one hundred years while keeping his youth,he only aged at the end of his trip.

    I'm from California, USA and I find your videos so fun. The Japanese culture and places are so interesting to me! Dragon Ball Z and Naruto are so incredibly popular and I am not sure One Piece is the same as that. But it has been growing, especially since Netflix came out with the live action One Piece. I also think anime may be more popular than manga. However, Japanese manga is bigger in America than the American comics. Japanese manga completely beats out Marvel or DC comic books now!

      Glad you liked the look of the restaurant! That’s great your daughter enjoys sushi. Even if raw fish isn’t your thing, there’s always plenty of other seafood to enjoy!

    Aww, I was thinking the turtle did him a favor by not making him live a whole long life when no one he knew was even alive anymore...he got to see 'his future' but in dying soon as an old man, he didn't have to linger in the 'I wishes' and the 'what ifs' :)...just my two cents :)

      @experience_japan  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s a really thoughtful perspective! I hadn’t considered it that way, but it makes sense. He got a glimpse of the future without having to live with the regrets of “what could have been.” Great insight!

      Public bathhouses such as hot springs are not available, but there are few other problems.
      In my opinion, many Japanese are concerned about Japanese tattoos. Very few people are concerned about tattoos of whites or blacks.

    Well, it is somehow official the anime boom in Brazil started with Dragonball, in special DragonBall Z. Naruto got the wave here after Pokemon to keep the torch alive and One Piece did the homework well. But we got Bleach for sometime as long as i can remember...

      It’s pretty much official that the anime boom in Brazil started with Dragon Ball, especially Dragon Ball Z. After Pokémon, Naruto carried the torch, and One Piece followed suit. And if I remember correctly, Bleach also had its time in the spotlight for a while.

    General question. Do most seafood culinary in Japan contain either alcohol or lard? I have a feeling they don't.

    • @experience_japan
      @experience_japan  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good question! Most seafood dishes in Japan don’t contain alcohol or lard. However, some dishes may use cooking sake or mirin for flavor, so it’s always good to check.

    I wish we had a bathroom that was a shower room with a toilet. I live in the United States of America. I am handicapped and I could use the toilet for setting while showering. I don't understand why other cultures haven't taken on some of the Japanese culture because of how versatile it is. My grandmother was Japanese and Korean. My grandfather was British English from Whales. I was raised in both cultures and I love my grandmothers traditions. I never got to meet her because she passed away from cancer three weeks after I was born and I don't remember her. I have a baby blanket she made me and it's Japanese characters with a momma bear and her baby bear in different scenarios enjoying a walk in the park with pink blooms and beautiful flowers. I keep it in my living room. I also have a hand made blanket she crocheted for me before I was born. It was a gift for my mom's first born child. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. This reminds me of my grandmother, I would have called her Nonny. My mom told me I have her nose and almond brown eyes almost black. 😊❤

      Thank you for sharing your beautiful story. It’s touching to hear about the special connection you have with your grandmother through the blankets she made for you, even though you never met her. I’m glad the video reminded you of her. It’s wonderful to see how much you appreciate both sides of your heritage.
