I've never been so moved by a sermon before. I had to go into my bathroom and cry. I've never felt like this before. I needed this so bad. This entire sermon shifts everything I've ever known and makes me want to cling to Jesus like a baby to it's mother. Watching this, I felt a fear that shook me to my core. A fear of God's wrath. I need to make a VERY big change in my life starting from this moment.
Well its a year later did it stick or not? Im going to go out an a limb and say it didnt and its NOT because you messed up its because Paul Washer is messed up. He can get you to a place where you realize your need to REALLY repent but he cant take you past it because he doesnt believe you CAN he says so even. Its true you will never get beyond being saved by grace nor ever fully understand it but that due to the infinite nature of God and out finite nature, so reason it out then since you cant get beyond this instead be steadfast in learning more and more and being content in areas where God says NO this is mine or you're not ready for that. I am so glad you chose to get close to God but to do that you have to read the word YOURSELF!

I commend you Brother Paul for delivering a message void of " fluff". Many church folk have gotten use to being entertained by the messenger that when a speaker, like yourself comes along they can't swallow it. And because many Preachers are crowd-pleasers they preach messages that will make them popular instead of a message that brings about conviction and repentance.

Man oh man! This is truly the real gospel. This is the true message of Gods word. It’s mind blowing to me how many places do not preach this. Paul is so right in regards to people preaching a very watered down version. I used to watch prosperity teachers when I was a new Christian because I didn’t know any better but god knew my heart was sincere for him and truth so he saved me from that and brought me the truth. And what this man teaches is the truth. Praise God!! To understand gods true mercy and love for us we must truly understand what we are without him and that’s a broken lost human being that cannot do good in desperate need of a savoir!

Actually, beware of Washer. He preaches an accursed gospel which I never believed. He's just deceptive in how he explains his doctrine. I believe that once you believe in the Word of God and his resurrection (the gospel) you recieve everlasting life and become a child of God (born again). I believe we're saved apart from any work on our behalf, meaning you don't have to do any thing to get saved, stay saved, or become saved. Washer believes a believer must have the works or his faith isn't good enough. He would say he doesn't have "saving faith". He misinterprets James 2 to preach this damnable heresy and I no longer am decieved by him. If you see this comment then just know I don't believe this is the ultimate sermon any more and you should search the scriptures yourself to see if these things are so. Yes, the word commands us to repent and believe the gospel but He never says "repent of your sins" one time in the King James bible. Do not be decieved.
He is very inconsistent. Very bitter and forgotten his own DVD would be just as shameful as those he points finger at. Here he said men are sinful but believes that we can use the deeds of our sinful flesh to show GOD we can do anything good. In one of his videos he said we got to be holy, pure and be like Jesus. Holy and pure and righteous are the attributes only GOD have. "You got to" means we are able . Able what? to be like GOD? Be like Jesus? who can we save even if we die the same death of Christ? The fall of men is because Eve being tempted by satan that she can be like GOD. Knowing good and evil. First thing they did after they ate the fruit was to judge(themselves)and become shameful of their own nakedness. This man is passing that fruit to his audience in almost all his sermons. Only God can judge Paul. Don't forget you were saved when you were yet sinner. Don't question the salvation of others. That's not your job. You're just other another wearing stinky sinful flesh. Only one part of you is right with GOD, that is the Holy Spirit in you. At least I don't question that. Not that I have no reason to. I can also suspect you're running the race in vain by adding the adding self righteousness to the finished work of Christ. That could be unbelief in God's eyes too. Don't fall into that Paul.

It's not a suggestion, it's a commandment (and yes, under the grace, and with the help of the holy spirit, we are able to). I'm not talking about sinless perfection, which isn't biblical, but the striving for holiness. And indeed, if I'm saved, I will seek after God's holiness and righteousness, as the Spirit sanctifies me daily.

I remember when I was growing up in my early teens Mom used to drag us kids to church every Sunday to listen to the lectures and stories from the Holy rollers who preached to the congregation. I became interested in the various messages drummed into us and especially about the need to love your brother so I decided to put the concept into practice. I was upstairs in my room after the Church service loving my brother, Gee it was fun and he liked it too, maybe we were too loud because the next thing that happened was the bedroom door flew open and Mom stood there with her mouth open and a face as red as a beet. She screamed for us to put our clothes back on and then chased us down the stairs with a broom, Gee that broom handle hurt and you could hear her yelling all over the neighborhood, things were very frosty within the family for about a month, Parents are sometimes very hard for kids to understand, Jesus tells us one thing and parents tell us the opposite ....Oh well - -
This is why confession is so important! If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.... HOW? Being Holy, Holy, Holy, how can he FORGIVE US? Through our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, his blood cleanseth us from all sin. What a wonderful truth! What amazing show of love!

I found out that in them there is lying, stealing, adultery (Matthew 5:28 looking at someone with lust is adultery), fornication which is sex before marriage, revenge, murder, jealousy, pride=self-pity, hypocrisy, using God’s name in vain as a curse word, they are all idols (breaks 2nd Commandment) because most people can’t live without them and they love them more than God and more. After God has destroyed all your evil desires of watching TV and if you are one of God’s elects, you receive the joy of the Holy Spirit for about 40 minutes. After the joy wears off, all existence of boredom no longer exists and you no longer burn out (psychology) anymore. That is when you have received the Holy Spirit.
Then it’s by the grace of God that he forgives you of your sins, as you confess and repent of your sins throughout your life which is called sanctification. Many church folk have gotten use to being entertained by the messenger that when a speaker, like yourself comes along they can't swallow it. And because many Preachers are crowd-pleasers they preach messages that will make them popular instead of a message that brings about conviction and repentance.

Man oh man! This is truly the real gospel. This is the true message of Gods word. It’s mind blowing to me how many places do not preach this. Paul is so right in regards to people preaching a very watered down version. I used to watch prosperity teachers when I was a new Christian because I didn’t know any better but god knew my heart was sincere for him and truth so he saved me from that and brought me the truth. And what this man teaches is the truth. Praise God!! To understand gods true mercy and love for us we must truly understand what we are without him and that’s a broken lost human being that cannot do good in desperate need of a savoir!

This is the ultimate sermon! None is like the true living God. So many people need to hear this
Actually, beware of Washer. He preaches an accursed gospel which I never believed. He's just deceptive in how he explains his doctrine. I believe that once you believe in the Word of God and his resurrection (the gospel) you recieve everlasting life and become a child of God (born again). I believe we're saved apart from any work on our behalf, meaning you don't have to do any thing to get saved, stay saved, or become saved.
Washer believes a believer must have the works or his faith isn't good enough. He would say he doesn't have "saving faith". He misinterprets James 2 to preach this damnable heresy and I no longer am decieved by him.
If you see this comment then just know I don't believe this is the ultimate sermon any more and you should search the scriptures yourself to see if these things are so. Yes, the word commands us to repent and believe the gospel but He never says "repent of your sins" one time in the King James bible.

I'm glad that your eyes are opened and see the true gospel 1 cor 15 ChicagoRome1161. Here he said men are sinful but believes that we can use the deeds of our sinful flesh to show GOD we can do anything good. In one of his videos he said we got to be holy, pure and be like Jesus. Holy and pure and righteous are the attributes only GOD have. "You got to" means we are able . Able what? to be like GOD? Be like Jesus? who can we save even if we die the same death of Christ? The fall of men is because Eve being tempted by satan that she can be like GOD. Knowing good and evil. First thing they did after they ate the fruit was to judge(themselves)and become shameful of their own nakedness. This man is passing that fruit to his audience in almost all his sermons. Only God can judge Paul. Don't forget you were saved when you were yet sinner. Don't question the salvation of others. That's not your job. You're just other another wearing stinky sinful flesh. Only one part of you is right with GOD, that is the Holy Spirit in you. At least I don't question that. Not that I have no reason to. I can also suspect you're running the race in vain by adding the adding self righteousness to the finished work of Christ. That could be unbelief in God's eyes too. Don't fall into that Paul.

It's not a suggestion, it's a commandment (and yes, under the grace, and with the help of the holy spirit, we are able to). I'm not talking about sinless perfection, which isn't biblical, but the striving for holiness. And indeed, if I'm saved, I will seek after God's holiness and righteousness, as the Spirit sanctifies me daily.

I remember when I was growing up in my early teens Mom used to drag us kids to church every Sunday to listen to the lectures and stories from the Holy rollers who preached to the congregation.
I became interested in the various messages drummed into us and especially about the need to love your brother so I decided to put the concept into practice. I was upstairs in my room after the Church service loving my brother, Gee it was fun and he liked it too, maybe we were too loud because the next thing that happened was the bedroom door flew open and Mom stood there with her mouth open and a face as red as a beet.
She screamed for us to put our clothes back on and then chased us down the stairs with a broom, Gee that broom handle hurt and you could hear her yelling all over the neighborhood, things were very frosty within the family for about a month, Parents are sometimes very hard for kids to understand, Jesus tells us one thing and parents tell us the opposite ....Oh well - -
