Paul washer is a false prophet who says if you don't have or do any works, if you haven't gotten sin out of your life, you are not saved. When the Bible says clearly that salvation is by grace through faith and not of works. He claims there is no such thing as a "carnal Christian" contradicting apostle's Paul teachings on Romans 7 and 1 john 3
Yes, I never tire of him. His enthusiasm and genunie love remains firm after many, many years. That's a testimony in itself. God has given him strength and help for sure

This is good for the times where there's long time. With a short period of time I've found a question that will point to Christ/the word of God in a short encounter. Get their name, Joe, question for you, if God were to speak would you listen? Nearly everyone will say yes. Then ask them if they have a Bible. Even for the 30 or younger who say they don't have a Bible, point out they have one on their cell phone. Read John, listen to God

I feel the same way. I have not been storing up treasure in heaven as often as I could have been by service to the Lord. TIme is short - and eternity is soon upon us. Be up and doing for the Lord, in whatever way we have opportunity to serve Him.

Yes, if we don't do witnessing also, by telling others the way of life, we have missed a central part of our main calling, in fact the church's function apart from worship and teaching. I was in the Gideons, and I printed what's written on the back two pages of a Gideon New Testament into a double sided foldable credit sized tract that I could easily put in my wallet and hand out to people that I meet. Then I saw that I'd like to see some other verses in that tract such as John 5:12 He who hath The Son hath life and he who hath not The Son hath not life. For years, I've noticed that in that script, it says... MY DECISION TO RECEIVE CHRIST AS MY SAVIOUR: Confessing to God that I am a sinner, and believing that the Lord Jesus Christ died for my sins on the cross and was raised for my justification, I receive and confess Him as my personal Saviour. Name:_________ Date:_________ What Paul Washer is referring to regarding "is a person really saved; was that belief and signing the name and date a belief unto salvation is such of a something to test. In one of Rick Warren's booklets that were in the jails, it would give gospel verses and after that, in that booklet it would say, if you prayed that prayer, congratulations you are now a Christian and you're going to heaven. In this revised tract, I had already also included some of the verses that Paul mentioned concerning what he said. If I could post the editable and printable file that I typed up in Excel, I would. The having the Name blank and the Date blank has been something for years that I've struggled with that perhaps might be better not to be included; at least don't say that just by signing that; that may not be a saving faith. What Paul Washer says about "the unregenerate heart that we were dead; the unsaved are dead" and those who truly believe are alive is such an issue that there is not a more important issue to face than that issue of seeking Christ and being found in Him. This of training ourselves how to better walk and talk our testimony is so so valuable regarding what matters for eternity.
What I would like help with is to word this foldable wallet sized tract with wording so that when we witness with someone, like how Paul Washer talks about him witnessing with someone on a plane, that it has some of these verses in it that Paul is talking about concerning "The Doctrine Of Reconciliation" that encourage people to grow in the grace, to continued to study the word.
Have your own track printed. The Lord will give you the Word and means to get it done . I rarely used tracks after 22 years due to such wording. I had a calling card made. Call Jesus on one side with Isaiah 55:6 and Romans 10:13. The other side have John 3:16 written out. 🕊️♥️

Sometimes it seems that when Christians hear the great commission to go out into the world and "preach" the gospel, and I thought this too; that that word "preach" is something that only preachers do or that that's a big monumental task. Do you find that once you share several verses having to do with verses compelling them to seek and / or having to do with God coming to them that are lost, that you start to see the Holy Spirit do his part? Like you are partnering with The Holy Spirit? 2 Corinthians 5:11-21 are quite the verses that say that God gave us the ministry of reconciliation... as to sthe marvel of why God would have us to have anything to do with telling about the complete work Jesus did on the cross and I wonder, why didn't God just go to each person individually, and why he would choose us who have been given The Light to "share in the ministry of reconciliation". The angels long to look in on salvation, in that "the angels in heaven rejoice over one sinner that repents".
@@shulamite6128 We had passed out Gideon New Testaments for ten or so years, and I would read and discuss the salvation verses on the back pages, and I thought; there's one more verse that I'd like to add to those verses, which is "he who hath The Son hath life, and he who hath not The Son hath not life", which once I did print my own out and didn't have to personally purchase Gideon New Testaments that I personally gave out on my own time, I added other verses that I found myself wanting to discuss with people or verses that seemed good for the person to look up.
@@shulamite6128 With the card you had printed, I'm trying to get some feel as to how that actually is for you to share those verses. On one side, you have verses about seeking the truths through compelling to seek, and on the other side is printed John 3:16, which is often one of the first verses people memorize. Do you find that just giving a few verses, that that helps with furthering conversations with people that you give the cards to? Sounds really really good what you're up to there!
The example of the boy assembling the map by looking at the reverse side where a man was pictured was clever indeed, but I dare say he learned nothing of geography. It is good to find an expedient avenue toward reconciliation, but in doing so, do not forsake the lesson at hand.
EVANGELISM IS DOING THIS: PREACH THE WORD; be prepared in season and out of season; CORRECT, REBUKE and ENCOURAGE-with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, DO THE WORK OF AN EVANGELIST, discharge all the duties of your ministry. (2 Timothy 4:2-5 NIV)
Paul said something about Calvinism in this sermon. Please tell me he's not a Calvinist? I've been listening to this man since I was saved last November, but when he mentioned Calvinism it has me worried. I still believe he's a true man of God, but someone help me out. And it's possible I have a misinformed view of what a Calvinist is. From my understanding, it's someone who believes they were chosen to be saved or predestined for it. Which to me is 100% false. If that was true, why did Christ die on the cross for everyone? I've never heard Paul say something that made me question him, so would love to hear from someone that is more knowledgeable than I.
A great many godly men have believed and taught what is sometimes called 'Calvinism', and their lives show fully they were both blessed and holy men, far more than you and I will ever be. This does give pause for thought! Then add to this, the long history of the church, until comparitively recently, did indeed hold to these truths/doctrines. It is simply a biblical view of soteriology, or salvation. One has to grapple with this subject, as how a person is 'saved' and what 'saved' actually means, is so very central to the core truths of Christ and the gospel. Ask yourself: if you salvation depended on you, your intellect, your matruity of thought, would you be saved? What about others not as 'gifted' intellectully as you? An unborn child? Etc etc. If I find time, I could point you to many resoruces on this, but I suggest searching the scriptures on the subject, and ask God to enlighten you in sincerity. If I get time, I'll post more
@@heartsoul4386 thank you for your reply. I'm honestly pretty ignorant to Calvinism other than what other believers have warned me about. But at this point, I do NOT feel the holy spirit guiding me away from Brother Paul Washer. Everytime I hear him, he preaches the true word of God. And I've never raised an eyebrow at him. I think he is truly a servant of our Lord Christ Jesus. But then again, I've only been a born again believer for less than a year, so what do I know? 🤷♂️
@@sasquatchlife8836 praise God for your conversion!!! Paul Washer will benefit you greatly. I encourage you to continue with him. He is a faithful man of God and has been tested in the fire for sure. You will grow and learn many things. Just keep faithful and pure. So much corruption out there. Don’t get sidetracked or deluded either false teaching or controversy. Stay true and keep your first love. Stay in the scriptures and find good churches. I can HIGHLY recommend anything on Ligonier website and videos. Particularly RC Sproul. You will grow quickly under that ministry.

You're right, but if you miss also what you do wrong; then you're in trouble. Blessed is the law for how would I know the evil I am committing, but we must strive to put our own house in order as well. And if you are doing that; that is truly wonderful and maybe reminders of the law may be great. But please....don't be oblivious, make sure your eyes are open for yourself as well. Even now I notice where my eyes are closed a bit in some of my evils, and how much I have abandoned the lord and had ill for him in my heart. Let's open our eyes and pray for his mercy and grace. If your eyes are shot open, please don't give up.....we have so much to learn.
Where did you find these sessions of Paul Washer teaching evangelism and do you have the right to upload them on TH-cam? Is this content copyright, is it legal to watch this? I would love to watch these sessions, but I don't want to break against God's command to obey the governing authorities (Romans 13)
It is certainly legal. I've even been in touch with Heart Cry, and they are aware they have been recorded, during a conference in New Zealand. You can enjoy watching them without any fear of copyright, or law breaking. I offered these videos to heart cry, along with the set of sermons Mr Washer delivered. This was not the conference proper, but after the conference ended, he held a series of post-conference sessions on evangelism. They have been very popular
Interestingly, after your comment, I also contacted the conveners of the conference itself. They had long since lost the messages, therefore, these are the only copies available now. However, as mentioned Heart Cry was sent the proper conference sessions after I told them we had them still, but they did not request the evangelism series. So this still remains the only place for these sessions online. However, as the result of today's contact with the conference organisers, not only are they thrilled these have been preserved, but apologised for not keeping recordings of prior conferences, and asked I send them these to begin to build up their historical messages from prior conferences etc. So, providentially, thanks to your comment, these will now go to a further online presence, and reach an even larger audience! But it can be done with the power of the Holy Spirit within you. It all depends on one’s desire to do God’s will and perseverance. On one’s closeness to Him. Reading scripture every day and soaking in its power. The Bible is living and powerful to to sustain us in all things. Unfathomable. Praise God.

Tell me why is keeping God's Law always degraded as legalism? If we love God we will want to obey Him. What is wrong with that? Jesus kept His Father's law. So should we. Sin is the transgression of God's Law. He who endures until the end, the same shall be saved. No one has been declared saved yet. The Judgment is going on now.
good question, and yes, keeping it to 'earn' any merit, salvation, etc is unbliblical, so therefore wrong. However, the godly and right response once saved by grace alone, is to strive to please God in EVERY respect (failing at many times), simply to wish to love and obey the God who saved us, but NOT to merit or earn credit with God. Thus salvation is purely on the basis of the finished work of Christ, and has nothing whatsoever to do with any obedience on our part. Fruit of salvation is indeed good works, but these come as symptoms of a new birth. Ask yourself, how are we saved? And the issue is redundant immediately. Legalism is the antithesis of antinomianism. Both are incredibly wrong and sinful and lead to hell. The balance is the key thing. Paul was right to say he was charged with antinomianism, simply because the gospel is so incredibly amazing in its scope and offer. If rightly preached, we will be charged with the same
God's Instructions ( laws) are to be obeyed. If one is not following His Laws then whose are they following? They were not written for Salvation. They are Moral Standard Laws in which we are to live by. Do Not believe anyone who preaches another gospel.
yes, of course, but the issue is clearly, if you 'push' this as an agenda, or amplify it wrongly above grace, then you are in fact supporting legalism in the sense that we please God via our law keeping. Of course you are not meaning to say it is law keeping for salvation, but you do then end up leaning that way. Instead, we have only ONE way of pleasing God AT ALL, and that's Christ's work, which completely and utterly justifies us PERFECTLY before God for time and eternity. We WILL fail, but our standing is not our law keeping but ONLY via Christ's law keeping. Does that help? To state one degrades the law by preaching Grace, is really to misunderstand the beautiful harmony between the two, which cannot be understood without the other. Preaching Grace does not degrade the law, as Christ said, he came to amplify it (which actually condemns us further!) but the law was a schoolmaster to lead us to Christ. But once led, we obey out of love, not fear, legalism or to earn merit. We all are miserable failures in the law, let's be honest @@cindyrehder1164

To push law without Grace is the same as pushing Grace without law, therefore you have a false teaching! By the way it may help you to know laws in original Hebrew text means God's Instructions. Are we not to follow His Instructions? How can one do otherwise if they are following Jesus Christ? This would be false teaching and a very dangerous one!

Remember what Jesus said about the mote/lodge in the eye etc.. We are all sinners, and both you and I know that we've most likely done far worse sins than having a tattoo or piercing. I know I have. This is good for the times where there's long time. With a short period of time I've found a question that will point to Christ/the word of God in a short encounter. Get their name, Joe, question for you, if God were to speak would you listen? Nearly everyone will say yes. Then ask them if they have a Bible. Even for the 30 or younger who say they don't have a Bible, point out they have one on their cell phone. Read John, listen to God

Yes, if we don't do witnessing also, by telling others the way of life, we have missed a central part of our main calling, in fact the church's function apart from worship and teaching. I was in the Gideons, and I printed what's written on the back two pages of a Gideon New Testament into a double sided foldable credit sized tract that I could easily put in my wallet and hand out to people that I meet. Then I saw that I'd like to see some other verses in that tract such as John 5:12 He who hath The Son hath life and he who hath not The Son hath not life. For years, I've noticed that in that script, it says... MY DECISION TO RECEIVE CHRIST AS MY SAVIOUR: Confessing to God that I am a sinner, and believing that the Lord Jesus Christ died for my sins on the cross and was raised for my justification, I receive and confess Him as my personal Saviour. Name:_________ Date:_________ What Paul Washer is referring to regarding "is a person really saved; was that belief and signing the name and date a belief unto salvation is such of a something to test. In one of Rick Warren's booklets that were in the jails, it would give gospel verses and after that, in that booklet it would say, if you prayed that prayer, congratulations you are now a Christian and you're going to heaven. In this revised tract, I had already also included some of the verses that Paul mentioned concerning what he said. If I could post the editable and printable file that I typed up in Excel, I would. The having the Name blank and the Date blank has been something for years that I've struggled with that perhaps might be better not to be included; at least don't say that just by signing that; that may not be a saving faith. What Paul Washer says about "the unregenerate heart that we were dead; the unsaved are dead" and those who truly believe are alive is such an issue that there is not a more important issue to face than that issue of seeking Christ and being found in Him. This of training ourselves how to better walk and talk our testimony is so so valuable regarding what matters for eternity.
What I would like help with is to word this foldable wallet sized tract with wording so that when we witness with someone, like how Paul Washer talks about him witnessing with someone on a plane, that it has some of these verses in it that Paul is talking about concerning "The Doctrine Of Reconciliation" that encourage people to grow in the grace, to continued to study the word.
Have your own track printed. The Lord will give you the Word and means to get it done . I rarely used tracks after 22 years due to such wording. I had a calling card made.
Call Jesus on one side with Isaiah 55:6 and Romans 10:13. The other side have John 3:16 written out. 🕊️♥️

Sometimes it seems that when Christians hear the great commission to go out into the world and "preach" the gospel, and I thought this too; that that word "preach" is something that only preachers do or that that's a big monumental task. Do you find that once you share several verses having to do with verses compelling them to seek and / or having to do with God coming to them that are lost, that you start to see the Holy Spirit do his part? Like you are partnering with The Holy Spirit? 2 Corinthians 5:11-21 are quite the verses that say that God gave us the ministry of reconciliation... as to sthe marvel of why God would have us to have anything to do with telling about the complete work Jesus did on the cross and I wonder, why didn't God just go to each person individually, and why he would choose us who have been given The Light to "share in the ministry of reconciliation". The angels long to look in on salvation, in that "the angels in heaven rejoice over one sinner that repents".
@@shulamite6128 We had passed out Gideon New Testaments for ten or so years, and I would read and discuss the salvation verses on the back pages, and I thought; there's one more verse that I'd like to add to those verses, which is "he who hath The Son hath life, and he who hath not The Son hath not life", which once I did print my own out and didn't have to personally purchase Gideon New Testaments that I personally gave out on my own time, I added other verses that I found myself wanting to discuss with people or verses that seemed good for the person to look up.
@@shulamite6128 With the card you had printed, I'm trying to get some feel as to how that actually is for you to share those verses. On one side, you have verses about seeking the truths through compelling to seek, and on the other side is printed John 3:16, which is often one of the first verses people memorize. Do you find that just giving a few verses, that that helps with furthering conversations with people that you give the cards to? Sounds really really good what you're up to there!

Paul said something about Calvinism in this sermon. Please tell me he's not a Calvinist? I've been listening to this man since I was saved last November, but when he mentioned Calvinism it has me worried. I still believe he's a true man of God, but someone help me out.
And it's possible I have a misinformed view of what a Calvinist is. From my understanding, it's someone who believes they were chosen to be saved or predestined for it. Which to me is 100% false. If that was true, why did Christ die on the cross for everyone?
I've never heard Paul say something that made me question him, so would love to hear from someone that is more knowledgeable than I.
A great many godly men have believed and taught what is sometimes called 'Calvinism', and their lives show fully they were both blessed and holy men, far more than you and I will ever be. This does give pause for thought! Then add to this, the long history of the church, until comparitively recently, did indeed hold to these truths/doctrines. It is simply a biblical view of soteriology, or salvation. One has to grapple with this subject, as how a person is 'saved' and what 'saved' actually means, is so very central to the core truths of Christ and the gospel. Ask yourself: if you salvation depended on you, your intellect, your matruity of thought, would you be saved? What about others not as 'gifted' intellectully as you? An unborn child? Etc etc. If I find time, I could point you to many resoruces on this, but I suggest searching the scriptures on the subject, and ask God to enlighten you in sincerity. If I get time, I'll post more

But at this point, I do NOT feel the holy spirit guiding me away from Brother Paul Washer. Everytime I hear him, he preaches the true word of God. And I've never raised an eyebrow at him. I think he is truly a servant of our Lord Christ Jesus. But then again, I've only been a born again believer for less than a year, so what do I know? 🤷♂️

You will grow and learn many things. Just keep faithful and pure. So much corruption out there. Don’t get sidetracked or deluded either false teaching or controversy. Stay true and keep your first love. Stay in the scriptures and find good churches. I can HIGHLY recommend anything on Ligonier website and videos. Particularly RC Sproul. You will grow quickly under that ministry.

You're right, but if you miss also what you do wrong; then you're in trouble. Blessed is the law for how would I know the evil I am committing, but we must strive to put our own house in order as well. And if you are doing that; that is truly wonderful and maybe reminders of the law may be great.
But please....don't be oblivious, make sure your eyes are open for yourself as well. Even now I notice where my eyes are closed a bit in some of my evils, and how much I have abandoned the lord and had ill for him in my heart. Let's open our eyes and pray for his mercy and grace.

I would love to watch these sessions, but I don't want to break against God's command to obey the governing authorities (Romans 13)
It is certainly legal. I've even been in touch with Heart Cry, and they are aware they have been recorded, during a conference in New Zealand. You can enjoy watching them without any fear of copyright, or law breaking. I offered these videos to heart cry, along with the set of sermons Mr Washer delivered. This was not the conference proper, but after the conference ended, he held a series of post-conference sessions on evangelism. They have been very popular
Interestingly, after your comment, I also contacted the conveners of the conference itself. They had long since lost the messages, therefore, these are the only copies available now. However, as mentioned Heart Cry was sent the proper conference sessions after I told them we had them still, but they did not request the evangelism series. So this still remains the only place for these sessions online. However, as the result of today's contact with the conference organisers, not only are they thrilled these have been preserved, but apologised for not keeping recordings of prior conferences, and asked I send them these to begin to build up their historical messages from prior conferences etc. So, providentially, thanks to your comment, these will now go to a further online presence, and reach an even larger audience! Tell me why is keeping God's Law always degraded as legalism? If we love God we will want to obey Him. What is wrong with that? Jesus kept His Father's law. So should we.

good question, and yes, keeping it to 'earn' any merit, salvation, etc is unbliblical, so therefore wrong. However, the godly and right response once saved by grace alone, is to strive to please God in EVERY respect (failing at many times), simply to wish to love and obey the God who saved us, but NOT to merit or earn credit with God. Thus salvation is purely on the basis of the finished work of Christ, and has nothing whatsoever to do with any obedience on our part. Fruit of salvation is indeed good works, but these come as symptoms of a new birth. Ask yourself, how are we saved? And the issue is redundant immediately. Legalism is the antithesis of antinomianism. Both are incredibly wrong and sinful and lead to hell. The balance is the key thing. Paul was right to say he was charged with antinomianism, simply because the gospel is so incredibly amazing in its scope and offer. If rightly preached, we will be charged with the same
God's Instructions ( laws) are to be obeyed. If one is not following His Laws then whose are they following? They were not written for Salvation. They are Moral Standard Laws in which we are to live by. Do Not believe anyone who preaches another gospel.
yes, of course, but the issue is clearly, if you 'push' this as an agenda, or amplify it wrongly above grace, then you are in fact supporting legalism in the sense that we please God via our law keeping. Of course you are not meaning to say it is law keeping for salvation, but you do then end up leaning that way. Instead, we have only ONE way of pleasing God AT ALL, and that's Christ's work, which completely and utterly justifies us PERFECTLY before God for time and eternity. We WILL fail, but our standing is not our law keeping but ONLY via Christ's law keeping. Does that help? To state one degrades the law by preaching Grace, is really to misunderstand the beautiful harmony between the two, which cannot be understood without the other. Preaching Grace does not degrade the law, as Christ said, he came to amplify it (which actually condemns us further!) but the law was a schoolmaster to lead us to Christ. But once led, we obey out of love, not fear, legalism or to earn merit. We all are miserable failures in the law, let's be honest
