***** you just answered the question during your very last statement. This is why John wrote 1,2,&3rd letter. His points are, not everyone who proclaim to be a Christian is one. Those who do believe, and has been transformed by God Himself, will live in the light; the truth which brings me to the next point. One of the reasons that Catholic are not considered Christians is because they pray to Mary/rosary as if she is a mediator to God and believes that she plays a role in hearing prayer. Prayer is a major role in the Christian life. There is only One mediator between The Father and man and that is the Son. We as Christians have a direct connection to the Son. They devote their lives to honoring saints including Mary when in actuality, it is our God who is to get all honor and all Glory. All our living and doing should point to God. We exist to give God our all. We were created and made by Him to worship Him. This is how we live.

***** catholicism believes that a man is
      1) regenerated by baptism. Therefore, they deny the basic principle of christian conversion
      2) that the sacrifice of Christ is not finished and that we merit eternal life by partaking the sacrifice of Christ
      3) that Christ is not the only mediator
      4) that Salvation is not by Grace alone
      5) that we should pray in the name of other name than Jesus-Christ
      6) that we should have a special respect for idols
      7) that someone needs the sacraments to have the Grace of God
      8) that when we eat the elements, it is really the flesh and blood of Christ and it is a God incarnation.
I could go on and on, but the most important thing is that they don't believe in regeneration from the Spirit of God (they say they do, but they really don't). People are not dead in their sins, but are encouraged to die to self by their own efforts.
There's no Gospel at all. It really seems more a pagan religion than the true religion. Their Christ is not Jesus.
Of course there is exceptions, but I don't believe God will keep a true Christian in a prostitute like the Roman Catholic Church.

***** I don't agree with almost all what you said.
I don't consider himself as a Christian as I don't consider Pius as a Christian. We can agree that they professed to be Christians, but by their actions showed no knowledge of Christ. It was nothing more than hypocrisy for more power.
According to Hitler Jesus was not a Jew, but an Arian!?
He also blasphemed so many times the name of our Lord. Did you know he was fascinated by German pagan religions and that he made his Germany with pagan standards?
*What's your point in making all of this?* I'm not going to enter in this kind of arguments because you will never believe me.
Your hatred towards God is evident. God is angry at everyone because of the rebellion of man. Man is trying to justify his actions and he even tries to convince themselves that there is no such thing as a God or that He is not really Holy.
I say to you that you should tremble because the wrath of God is upon you and that you are in a terrible danger. If you do not accept the testimony of Christ, you will have the fullness of what you deserve.
But God is giving you time to change your mind and trust in what He says. He is blessing you everyday so that you may have life and be safe. He is even watching on you. You will either be more hardened or you will come empty to Him.
Pray God that He will saves you. He will give you Grace if you ask. Isn't easy? Just ask the God who knows all thing, even hearts, so that you may see the Light.
He is Gracious. He saved me when I was a religious hypocrite. I consider myself as the chief of sinners, but He saved me and showed me I was nothing. God provided a way to escape the great judgement coming. You must grasp the promises He gave you. He really did promise you. You just have to come as you are.
It may seems silly (it was even more for me), but God is Love.

Jesus died on the cross for the forgiveness of sins and also so that he could send the Holy Spirit who is able to give us a new heart so that we can follow God's laws and live by them.
    This is the new covenant.
This is how he fulfilled the law, because we have to follow his laws to be able to enter his kingdom. Christians who have not been converted to righteousness by the Holy Spirit are still under the law, meaning they are trying to overcome their sins by their own strength.
Without the Holy Spirit in them, they are still under the law, and they will be judged by the law since they were not born again and they didn't recieve salvation. They will be judged and required to pay the full penalty that the law requires which is death..
Obedience is required to enter God's kingdom. Most Christian churches teach a false doctrine that obedience is not possible. Believers in this false doctrine cannot be saved because of their denial and unbelief in the power of God. Most christian churches today preach a false doctrine that it is impossible to stop sinning. They have rejected any notion of the freedom from sin that is available through the power of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, they have rejected the New Covenant, and in turn, they will be rejected by God. The free gift is not given to everyone who asks for it. It is only given to those who believe in the power of the Holy Spirit to free us from the bondage of sin itself. God's grace frees us from sin. It does not free us to sin only without a penalty. That is not why Jesus died on the cross. He came to make us clean, not leave us dirty.
    1 John 2:4 tells us:
"He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."
False churches teach that there is no remedy for the flesh nature. They underestimate God's power. They have no faith in his ability to deliver them. They choose to put all of their heart into believing that that they get to have God and that they get to keep their sins too.
This is a deadly deception that appeals to lukewarm Christians. It has been embraced by the whole world. No one who believes this false gospel will recieve salvation.

We fallow God’s Laws because we love Him, but the “ability to enter the Kingdom of God” comes solely from the blood of Christ when we accept being born again, John 3:3, 5.
When we come under Christ we are no longer under the judgment of the Law,
      Galatians 3: 24,25
“ the law ‘WAS’ our schoolmaster, now we’re justified by faith.
Now! We fallow the Law freely out of love for our Father.
The Law is not for the righteous or (the Just), but for the lawless or (the lost) 1 Tim 1:9
The Law merely reveals sin Rom 7:7

@@mrredcrafter8587 I got to be honest I had my first experience with God as a very young child before I ever learned about the Bible or any of this nonsense, and I fell in love with Jesus, because I actually read what Jesus himself wrote. I don’t know what happened. I am not a theologian, but it does not take a 10 year old to be able to read the Bible and say look - a lot of things that are written by the “disciples” and what Jesus wrote are two different things and if you can’t understand that, I don’t know what to say to you. Jesus is the person I want to follow ! Jesus! and if I just focus on all of the things attributed to what he himself said and wrote , and I do that, I am busy enough and I don’t need to know anything else literally nothing else and that may seem very heathen to you that is probably going to go against what you’ve been raised to believe your whole life and perhaps that’s because you learned everything from a church and so it’s very hard for you to think outside of that but I know for myself I don’t like going outside of what Jesus himself said, and where there’s agreement from the other writers in the Bible, then great but we’re there is not agreement. I just ignore the things that don’t agree with what Jesus said because Jesus said it and God is not going to tell us to contradictory things. For me this is just using common sense and honestly the more I research the situation the more I realize is that a lot of stuff got changed between the time of Christ in the land of Christ and then, it found itself to Rome and so honestly I’m just way more interested in early Christian beliefs which is essentially early messianic Jewish beliefs. And also as to the Bible that I like to use, I like to use the Bible from the land of Christ not the Bible from the land of Europe and I’m sorry when you have realities, such as the word for hell doesn’t even exist in Aramaic, the language Jesus himself spoke well we’ve got some problems. As far as I’m concerned, Europe made a mess of Christianity and I can easily be seen because who can be said to be living a life like Christ that called them selves a Christian they are more people living a life like Christ, who don’t even clean Christianity and maybe that’s why the Bible also says many will call me. A mini are going to be refused because God’s gonna be like I don’t know what the heck you think but you clearly didn’t read what I wrote!

Calvanism is false, you guys dont even know if you are saved or not due to fruit inspection. The gospel is very simple, Jesus died for your sins was buried and rose again the third day. If you believe you have eternal life as a result then you have it. Salvation is by grace through faith. "In whom after ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy spirit of promise." "By grace you have been saved through faith, AND NOT THAT OF YOURSELVES it is a GIFT of God. Not of works lest any man should boast." Works is human effort of any kind, read the book of John. Jesus clearly gives the criteria for Salvation (unless you think he was lying), "he that believeth on the son hath everlasting life" stop being a work salvationist. "Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by the faith of Jesus christ."

@tomtemple69 if you believe you have to do something other than trust christ and what he did alone (paying our sin debt) for eternal life, then you are a work salvationist because you can't add anything to grace or it isn't grace anymore (Romans 11:6.) I actually have read the Bible many times which is how I'm able to divide the word correctly and not take things out of context. If you want an example of correct context, how about the fact that John's gospel was written with the expressed purpose of saving the lost (see john 21: 30-31) and yet works aren't mentioned a single time for Salvation. Instead, john tells us 99 times (not a small number) how to be saved, which is to "believe on the son." You either believe christ did it all for you or you believe you have something to contribute, and the latter idea will send you to hell. James (like all Paul's letters) are written to already saved believers, which is why he is instructing them not to be lazy and work for the lord. It's written to exhort readers to serve the lord, not an instruction manual on how to be saved, that's what John's gospel is for.

@tomtemple69 glad I made the comment about trusting christ with nothing added, as I see unfortunately you clearly don't. Your another confused calvanist who thinks works prove salvation. Tell me, where in Scripture do you find this notion because as far as I can tell it's a complete man-made concept. To give just one example of what I mean (since I don't want to make this too long), the church in corinth. Paul says the Christians in corinth are "carnal" and "sold unto sin," he also says reminds these same Christians that are "carnal" and "sold unto sin" that they will "judge angels" and "judge the world." How is your theology constant with Paul's? If you notice paul is trying to get these eternally saved believers to act according to their new status in Christ. If what you say us true, half of everything Paul told the corinthians wouldn't be written because they would just "act correctly" because the holy spirit is in them. If you apply this same mentality to every book Paul wrote then you clearly run into a problem, since at least 70% of everything Paul writes are exhortations and corrections to the church. For example, ephesians 4:1 "walk worthy of the calling by which you have been called" why does Paul need to say this, they have the holy spirit right?
How about, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.” Ephesians 4:31-32. Why does he need to say this, they have the holy spirit right?
Or maybe," Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.” Philippians 2:3-4
Again, redundant (according to you) these are just a few exhortations from Paul to the church that makes no sense to write down if the "holy spirit just compels you to do good works." Not how that works buddy, changes to your life occur via something called "progressive sanctification." Which is your own self effort in submitting to the holy spirit, growing in grace and growing in biblical maturity. Not an automatic change just because you have the holy spirit, or else Paul had no reason to write half of what he wrote.
