@@sd41btownsaucin thanks for the info. There isn't much info I have seen about upgrades for this truck. A bit worried about taking it all apart and putting it back together correctly :)
I had an older version of the Reflex 14B couple years ago but gave it to my nephew for him to start out on RC cars. My only issue with it is the size, I really just prefer 1/10 scale RC. The only small RC I have in my fleet is the 1/28 WLToys 284131 and that's a fun lil machine.
They have a few bugaboos I've dumped so much into my truggy version that I ought to be slapped but it's a track destroyer, the only continuous complaint I have is the motor mount setup, I hate it, maybe I'm doing something wrong idk but once you get it set properly it's pretty durn good and not too much of a complaint but the diffs are sealed but have no gasket so they leak back out if you try and tune them with fluid, I enjoy 10k in front and center and 7k in the rear. The upgrade shocks made a pretty big difference. Positives there is a ton of steering so much I had to dumb it down and I have my again down to 54% even after dumbing it down, I dont like a servo saver so I put in a straight horn and blew out the servo pretty quick but if you get the batan 135f it's pretty bullet proof in my experience I'm also running the larger spur stock pinion a 2445 4300kv motor 60a hobbywing esc dumbo radio and lc racing truggy tires and around my 12th scale track it's a BEAST!
Hi may I know can this car perform well at Indoor low traction hard packed small track ?do I need to purchase a smaller pinion gear ?what pinion gear this kit using ?I am waiting for my rtr kit and it haven't arrived yet just to prepared what the kit need to perform better in the track.
I own 4 of these and they are fun as heck to drive, but not durable. The main problem lies in how the motor mount is molded into the main floor pan, which over time loses gear mesh and grinds the pinion gear. It is difficult to get proper pinion mesh and needs a more solid mount. Three out of my 4 cars have hit the parts bin. The motors also wear out quickly and get very, very hot, very fast.
Would be fun to see a class grow from these
I wish they came unassembled. My favorite part is putting them together
Lc Racing EMB-1 has you covered, very nice 1/14 buggy kit👌
you gota take it all apart to take out all the crappy stock bearing

This would be fun as a stock class
I love mine. Wish had metal chassis like mini t and b
what's everyone using for aftermarket tires
Ok which do you prefer 1/16 or 1/14th scale buggies. Thought about getting a Mini B but I might prefer the slightly larger ride this offers.
Completely different platforms. Mini t/b is 2wd, this is 4wd. You’ll need both haha.
Nothing can beat LCRACING in this size
The real question is who did it better Losi or Associated. Mini 8ight t or b vs 14b Associated
LCracing or Tacon 1/14th 4wd buggies are great. Check those out

Looks like a flying squirrel out there. Great review

14MT any better?
My issue with the Reflex series is the batteries.
Gens Ace 2s 1800mah 45c soft case works great! Even comes with the correct T connector. Great fitment and lightweight.
@@PigglyWigglyDeluxeGens Ace 2s 1800mah 45c with T connector is perfect 👍 it’s a soft case, but no issues here.
It be perfect…
If you could find legit racing tiers for it.
And just like that I'm broke again 😅😅😅
TEAM ASSOCIATED CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!!! GL
Wow man I actually found it quite helpful but good to know 😊
