Their marketing department over here, so I’m guessing thats a big factor. Keep doing what you’re doing bud. The channel is looking good. You never know if and when they’ll change things up.
We don’t get forgotten about. Horizon Hobby got in touch with me a while back, but after my experience working with them back in 2021, I told them I wasn’t interested anymore.
@@TomleyRC that’s fair enough. I had an email last year from horizon all good until I gave my shipping address 😂 Their reply: Hi Ricky, Thank you for the clarification. I apologize for the confusion there. Horizon actually is not willing to ship outside of North America. Thanks Logan 😂😂😂
I only wish I had started with Arrma, when I first learned of them I had only looked at Traxxas cars. I thought the prices on their website were a scam lol, they seemed too good to be true. Now I own 5 Arrmas and want to grab more. Lots of tough decisions…
@@thisisbenji90I agree. I love Arrma and man I bet the brushless Gorgon is gonna sell like crazy but the xmaxx and e revo 2.0 are just incredible trucks. DUMB DURABLE and typically cheaper replacement parts than Arrma or losi…. But you pay more initially so it evens out 🤷🏼♂️
I think the kids would love this on my backyard track, but you need to learn DSC for your countering. Great video and thanks for sharing, but it’s not the tires 😆
Finally! The TA Pro2 has the worst remote and leaky shocks, hard to suggest to new comers. Now we have a proper entry truck that is 2WD. Super exciting stuff from Arrma lately.
I am just loving these wild new Arrma color schemes. They should make a budget Fury Grom at the $99 price point. They would DESTROY the market if they did that.
That body looks great! Traxxas should learn a thing or two from Arrma on that department! (the problem is: they would then patent painted lexan bodies... 😁)
Surprises! That's a nice looking shell! I can't help but think this is really late to the game. My AE sc10 has to be a decade old already. I was first.
Very fast for the price i am impressed and it has beautiful body with very cool fenders and cool style tyre pattern. I am impressed of how fast is with the 2s battery and because is 2wd maybe it will run with lower temperatures plus you have fewer parts to breake.
I have a brushless-converted Fury that was very unstable doing speed runs until the knobs wore off the tires. Now it can hit 50 pretty reliably. But you’re right, high speeds on pavement really isn’t the point of this truck anyway.
I wonder if trying the different settings on the gyro would have helped the speed runs at all or maybe even just shutting it off altogether would have helped because some of them cheaper gyros do not like high-speed runs
Ok..I'll be getting one..just from the vid. My takes. Good body strength, decent factory tune. Should completely mention my Asuga XLR nicely for playing in the dirt.
Arrma has been killing it lately. Traxxas really needs to kick it up a few notches if they want to compete. The prices are just so much better on these newer Arrma releases
I’m thinking of getting one of these making it race ready wish I could trade my Losi 22s SCT for this new one by Arrma I’m liking them there pretty sweet. Aarmas just getting so much better.
Yeah I quickly fell out of love with brushed motors. Not only the added power but higher effiency, less heat and more reliability from brushless makes any brushed setup obsolete nowadays.
I agree However i am a bit concerned about the 2 in 1 system I assume they did that to save money from putting the center dif in. Which I'm not sure how I feel about yet. On the plus side it has a center dif which is great and the price didn't go up. On the downside now if you want avc or you want to use your remote, you can't just rip out the receiver you have to take the entire electronics package out which is a shame. 2 in 1 works great on budget stuff but I'd rather have paid more for it and had it come with the electronics that the Vortex comes with because it's really not a good look. Also people shit on traxxas for lack of programming in there electronics. this has no programming options either which makes me worry about the future of the 3s line. If they all start coming with the 2 in 1 I'd rather buy a 4s car and have my options.
Traxxas 2wd has all metal gears (except for spur), better support, more custom options, typically lower price parts, made in Taiwan, etc. And the 3s cars come with an even better transmission. Too bad people don't understand that items are usually cheaper for a reason, like using plastic pivot balls and gears.
As an owner of 3s Arrma Granite and 3s Stampede vxl I can confirm the Stampede is a better and more reliable truck…by a lot.The Granite is faster and that’s it.. nothing else.If I had a choice I’d take Traxxas 3s over Arrma 3s any day..can’t speak on other Arrma vehicles besides Granite 3s and Typhon Grom
@Freakeye_RC something interesting I've pointed out is if you take the granite 3s and give it metal diffs and a center diff, your actually more expensive then the traxxas stampede 4x4 vxl by quite a bit. I imagine that's the problem they stumbled upon with the new cars is how to give people what they want and keep the price down. Then they realized that it's not possible so they probably just said we'll put a center dif in, cheapen the electronics and change the body to the fury style to save money. I honestly don't think that was a good trade off but we'll have to see i guess.
@@Boltboy-kh7yw Yep I put the metal diffs front and rear in my Granite..that was 100 bucks which brought the price up to the same as Stampede. Even with metal diffs the thing still can’t run 3s on 100% for a full pack without some kind of hiccup. Wheels flying off with axle stub attached or axles breaking at the drive cup esc wire broke loose landing a double backflip and steering servo failed in a month..Stampede is worth that extra hundred in reliability alone, not to mention features and tuning options.
Nothing NEW these are a rehash of an old design that got dropped because they where crap ! Typical Horizon buy up a company then ruin it with rehash crap and piss poor parts supply and service 👎🏻

And it's $229! I love the new colors!
Agreed.
I love Sentons… now if we could have a New 6s Senton.. my life would be almost complete
They gotta make a Rally soon surely.
At least ARRMA support US based creators with extra early access to their new cars.. We get forgotten about in the UK 😥

Am yet to see any UK channel release a vid of a new horizon product the day it’s announced we are most certainly not relevent it seems 😂 🇬🇧
Lowkey hoping for an infraction grom lol. Someday! 😁
I’m glad Arrma is coming out with a good verity of colors! ☺️
Gimme dat 3s Gorgon now pleeeeaaasssee Arrma🔥🔥🔥
Love 2 wheel drive cars 😁
It's crazy how much cheaper the Arrma 3S cars are compared to the Traxxas units.
And every bit as good

A little package full of fun .
Get two . Invite your buddies over for a race off .

Personally I want a Stadium Truck version like the Vorteks
they just release the new Vorteks, 2wd only.....
Nice love the color scheme looks good 👍....
Arrma is knocking it out of the park. Thanks for the video.
Autumn in New England, looks great.
Arrma 👍
Awesome! Love the new stuff from Arrma! Looking forward to watching you test out the new Senton as well. Curious to see how it does on the track.
Man thats a sweet rc truck 🚘😎💯 Thanks Rc Driver
Arrma = Awesome 😊
Looks very nice. Reminds me of my HPI Jumpshot flux. Nice with the gyro. 2in1 ESC is not good 😢 but other than that, it seems great 👍

I really really want them to make a 1/10 scale touring car
MSM gonna love that color scheme lol
New Senton 4x4 release also!
🤘🏼🤘🏼
I thought you could drive 😮😅

It’s never too late. There is a huge turn-over in the RC world. This is new to a bigger crowd than the existing hobby enthusiasts.

Are the pivot balls plastic?
Fury yes. New Senton metal now.
I wonder if trying the different settings on the gyro would have helped the speed runs at all or maybe even just shutting it off altogether would have helped because some of them cheaper gyros do not like high-speed runs
Mabuchi motor lol I haven’t heard that name in awhile it brings back memories!!
Sick! Not bad on the price for a 2WD Brushless.
Very nice just need a new paint job
🔵🔵🔵🙂🙂🙂👍👍👍🔵🔵🔵
The senton coming next looks just like the furry with clipless body and 4wd with center diff
completly different. Body, Shocks, Bumper, Tyres are the same or close to. rest ist different as hell.
I guess the 2 in 1 is a thing now. Bummer, I thought we were past that style. Other than that it looks great!
How about we put a small weight in the front for the speed runs
It looks awesome and the price is great
Ok..I'll be getting one..just from the vid. My takes.
Good body strength, decent factory tune. Should completely mention my Asuga XLR nicely for playing in the dirt.
Maybe it's just me but with most of them cheap steel can motors I've had they burnt out pretty easy on me 230 is a heck of a deal for what you get
Im so envious of those driving places you got,not in my country, not even crawler courses😢
When is the mini maxx review comming
Hey just wondering, what app are you using to measure how fast it’s going?
Look up SkyRC GNSS. It’s a module that goes in the car and transmits to an app.
@ thank you man👍
This system looks sick !
I don't need it. But I want it !!
Arrma has been killing it lately. Traxxas really needs to kick it up a few notches if they want to compete. The prices are just so much better on these newer Arrma releases
If this was Trax, sure you would have called it EPIC just by seeing the box.
On the other hand if it was Trax the haters would call it GARBAGE just by seeing the box
Probably. The difference is the haters have a very good chance of being correct.
@ well I’m not into trashing cars I haven’t driven yet so I can’t say but hey it is what it is…
Winner winner, chicken dinner
What do you think is better, Mojave Grom brushless, Traxxas Mini or the Fury. Getting back into RC wanted your opinion of what you would buy. 1-3
AWSOME!! I want the grom box mojave
I’m thinking of getting one of these making it race ready wish I could trade my Losi 22s SCT for this new one by Arrma I’m liking them there pretty sweet. Aarmas just getting so much better.
Take that Traxxas.
And why the Gorgon is not on brushless?. I think that is very popular truck!!!
Maybe we’ll see it at some point…
@@rcdriver
Why have they not made a blx gorgon
Who knows what we’ll see in the future…
My wife will enjoy this
U should get r1 to send u a mystery box of upgrades for the b7
Great job. Now they (all companies) need to learn brushed is worthless even for a brand new driver or child. Just stop already.
I'm glad they had them in brushed. My daughter doesn't care for all the speed of brushless
@@urdonercjeremyburris7541Its the quality. You control the speed with your remote. 😂
@@urdonercjeremyburris7541put it in training mode then 🤷♂️. I mean that’s what it’s for.
Yeah I quickly fell out of love with brushed motors. Not only the added power but higher effiency, less heat and more reliability from brushless makes any brushed setup obsolete nowadays.
So people should buy the full out brushless version of they have a brushless system ready to go or want a meaner system?
Make it make sense
As an old traxxas fan, how is traxxas going to compete with an any of arrmas products anymore? Traxxas gouged themselves out of the market

Arrma
I'm hearing some gear chatter...
Keep watching 😉
@rcdriver guess I was right, but simple fix. Lol
Hey that body is the body on aarma voltage, hmmmm
This or the Mojave Grom BLX?
Depends on how much you want to spend
What's the difference between this and the senton? Wait a minute, 2wd maybe
Many many things! Only shocks, body, ,driveshafts, wheels are the same/nearly the same. Rest is very different.
Did you turn up the stability control during speed runs? I’d think that’d help.
Arrma, even when it was under the Durango brand, had a style of its own and still does!
I like how you were mostly positive and truthful about this truck even though it was given to you for free
6s senton please
Nice, I’m not a big fan of Arma but I do like spectrum
Looks like they're still using garbage axles. I would never buy another 3s unless they upgrade those axles
Body looks ridiculous… battery tray again in the bottom. Not convinced at all.
It's not a great choice compared to others out there.
it is awesome, trust me. But if you dont like Arrma, then its fine.
@runnerbaba Vast majority of my "fleet" is Arrma. I guess I'm just not feeling it with this one.
It's a little hard to keep it going straight I it needs to be 4×4 in my opinion
