Reminds me of the losi mini8. That thing was a blast.
I put a 2445 motor in it and a 60a hobbywing esc with the larger spur gear it's a track destroyer.

I have the truggy version and I absolutely love it after a few upgrades and get rid of that goofy transmitter, the only thing I really dont like is the motor mount situation, not a fan
I have one of these in a Gamma and it’s tough as nails and a fun, like really fun, track car. It rips. Replace the stock radio though.

Great little car. I run some metal plates in the bottom of the chassis. The little extra weight helps a lot keeping it planted.
How do u stop it from stripping gears?
@@gigi9467 Metal chassis like the one the LC Racing 1/14th has. I have read that people use the LC diffs in the AE, so maybe the chassis works as well? There is one of two reasons why the AE would eat spurs if using the stock ESC/Motor, bad gear mesh or chassis flex.

Wow, that thing can fly. I thought it would be too small for the jumps.
I got the 14t, I would not run it outdoors pretty much at all. Gravel / pebbles get stuck in the wheels and jam them way more often than all my other RC's, and if you have a hard crash the motor is basically guaranteed to slip out of mesh and you have to take the motor mount apart and re-mesh it.
But it is fast as hell on a clean surface

Hopefully the new version has a metal spur option because it consumes them. No one made it for the old one. Had to sell mine for that reason.

If you run on a track is it still considered bashing? Or is it practise? IMO 1/14 scale is too small for a basher.

Actually the Duratrax Vendetta was the first 1/14th buggy. They were released sometime around 2007.
