Not all cultures treat their elders badly .. but many do. Of the hundreds of thousands we've lost here in the US this year, there are a ridiculous amount of younger people .. 50s, 40s, 30s .. even 20s. 😕 Profoundly sad .. and she dedicated this to all their families.
My grandfather died almost a month ago too, and I love this song it's just so amazing.

You must be in England by your accent. I used to live in London, age 6-8, then came back for my sophomore year of high schoolto live with my best friend and her family in the Cotswolds. You are very important.... open your heart to receiving confirmation of this in small and maybe also not so small ways... write to people you know to let them know you care, write snippets of stories about our life and observations to family members and friends and ask for a snippet ack of their stories.
Each person wants to e wanted, and when we show we care, when we reach out as Angelina does in her deep caring without asking anything back from us, well .... the caring just flows and overflows beautifully everywhere.
Lost my big brother on Good Friday after a 3 year battle with esophageal cancer that spread to his brain. He was larger than life to me...we enjoyed motorcycling, and took some epic trips together. In 1987 he bought a brand new BMW K75 and put over 345,000 miles on it. He had several other bikes as well, and he knew when riding season was over at this time last year in 2019 that he was parking them for good...I felt he was wrong, but he knew. Thank you, Angelina, for such a beautiful song to remember those we love and miss ❤

There are no words to describe how Angelina jordan has changed my life. Since i first saw her on A.G.T. i have listened to her every day. I truly believe that she will be known by the whole world very soon. And the world will be a better place for it
This is Angelina's way of trying to bring some comfort to the world and the many people who have lost someone.
From a young age she said she wanted to bring happiness to the world with her singing. Well, she just did with this song in the right moment ♥
My Grandfather passed this year. I couldn't go see him in hospital because of COVID. Then we couldn't hold/attend a funeral for him because of COVID. It was devastating to my whole family. I don't know how we'll ever cope and move past it. This song and your reaction made me ugly cry. I hope you and everyone else who has lost someone dear this year find solace soon.

Add another to that list... Alma Deutscher, and she is just 11 months older than Angelina. They both have a deep heartfelt connection to music since they were tiny, both have warm, caring, joyous open hearts, both are superb amazing musicians, and both have the intention to bring more beauty and love into the world through their music.
Alma is a classical composer extraordinaire... as with Angelina, people feel she is a reincarnation of great musicians of the past. Alma plays piano exquisitely, utterly beautiful melodies flow out of her easily, and as a sign of so many of her talents, she has been lent a Stradivarius for her violin playing!
My great wish is that these two loving, sensible families and their genius loving daughters meet and become good friends.

I lost my younger brother to covid. He was 52, not old. He died alone in his home a state away but it’s like it was a million miles away cause I couldn’t go. This makes me think of him so much. It’s like he’s “in my tears.” Oh gosh this hits so close ❤️

It's been the most topsy-turvy year I've ever seen. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my last two sisters, my father-in-law and an uncle within three months of one another in 2016. I have been crying all day for three reasons. First, because of the excitement over the release of Angelina's first single from Republic Records. Second, because of the sheer beauty of "Million Miles" - the music, the lyrics, the production quality and, most importantly, Angelina's astounding voice! Third, I went back to reminisce with some of my favorite reactors over the years. Although I had viewed these reactions many, many times in the past, watching them now in light of this important milestone in Angelina's life and career was very emotional for me. It was like paging through the family photo album just after giving my daughter away at her wedding. The poignant memories about her youth are now colored with the knowledge that she has grown up and taken a huge step in her life. While we will follow and support her in whatever the future holds, she will always be the little girl we have come to know and love. Could someone please pass the tissues??

Thank you Fil. This song strikes me right where my heart is. I lost five people dear to me in 2020. Doesn't matter that none were from COVID. Still in denial about one of my brothers who passed away in May. I hear the soulfulness in Angelina's voice and hope that Republic record label doesn't "taint" her career or "Americanize" her too much.
