Thanks for the instructions. Got everything working. Only problem is I am getting a noise if the engine is on and noise increases with acceleration. Planing to use ground loop isolator. Which wires do I need to connect?
Sure, well it depends on your trim and parts used. If you have the factory amp (like we did) and using the harness adapter with the low-level RCA connections, then this ground loop isolator may help (two orders needed unless you buy a 4 channel): amzn.to/3KfDIYm
Thank you. I assume this is plug and play and don’t need to ground and solder anything. I would just have to plug the 4 ends to the 2 ground isolators and plug the ends from the isolators to the unit

Hey, I'm wanting to do an aftermarket amp in my sc300, I have the 12disc cd changer and ik the amp is under it, would it be plug and play to install a new amp or would it require a lot of work?
Hi we have the Japanese import 1991 soarer . With the v8. It has this stupid stereo that has the heater stuff in it. If we get rid of the stereo and put one in like u have done we would also have to buy the lexus heater unit like you have which is easy to buy. Would you know if it would be hard to wire the heater unit
No, sounds like you failed to hook up the blue / white amp trigger wire. Your factory amp isn't turning on and consequently have no sound. Hook up that wire in the harness adapter to your new radio's amp or accessory wire, and it should turn on the factory amp.
@@ProvoBeastAudio turns out it was the amp wire, for whatever reason it was being pushed out of the connector. I had to hard wire it into the factory cable

@@ProvoBeastAudio I do have the 6 disc changer in the trunk but was always uncertain if mine was the amplified system because looking at the factory head units, some are Nakamichi, which as I understand are amplified. Wondering where I would look, if the factory amplifier was mounted in a specific location to determine, assuming it wasn’t built into the head unit.
There in an amp mounted directly under the cd changer. The cd changer implies your car is amplified. It's most likely a pioneer amp as the nakamichi systems had it advertised on the center console
Use a 9v battery and see which way the factory speaker pops. If it pops outwards, whatever wire is in the positive side of the battery will be your positive wire

With this upgrade on a nakamichi system, do you have to leave the amp installed? Or can you remove it and run the speakers without the amp?
With a bit of rewiring, sure, you can bypass the factory amplifier. We kept it in this vehicle per the customer's request for the time being.
