Really nice car raamblings. I'm in cold Canada and I had a common issue with grounding whereby the car would litterally die whenever I stepped on the brake to illuminate the rear lights, or use the signals for the rear lights. I ran new grounds but to no evail. This issue plauged me for a few years. I replaced all my rear bulbs with LED and I knew adding resistors would keep the current draw the same and I would still have the same problem. I found a post whereby a fellow who figured out how the flasher actually works and explained how to solder two diodes in the flasher (it comes apart) and bingo, perfect flash, no hyperflash and no current draw. The diodes are like twenty cents each. The alternator is designed for the current of regular bulbs and can easily handle it. I'm not familiar with alternators failing except due to the power steering pump failing and spilling fluid all over the alternator, then it dies. The fix for this is to clean the two screens each of the two soliniods located on the steering rack. They block over time causing higher pressure in the power steering system and this blows the pump or hoses. Just thought I might help out some of your visitors. I have a 1992 SC and never had a problem with my power steering or alternator.
Love your content man. Your 300 is understated yet so sleek, so sick. I've recently taken an interest in the SC 300 and 400 and thinking about buying one. I'd love to get mine looking like yours. Def getting some inspiration. Can't wait for more vids from you.
I bought the same flasher relay from the link in the description and this does not work on my 95 sc300...I tried and tried and spent the time to removing the pain in the ass relay under the kick panel and it didn't work. Pissed me off and tweaked my old back lol No distinct clicking like the oem and no response from the signals. Chucked the dang thing across the garage (felt good) and ended up putting the stock relay back and what do you know, it works. Maybe you guys have had better luck than me? Back to the resisters then I guess.
I too had the same problem with my 95. Spent 30 minutes in the cold trying to figure it out. Got fed up and put my oem relay back. You ever figure something out?
hey man. When I put those badges on the car (2017), there was an Ebay seller importing badges for Toyota versions of Lexus cars. If you type in "Toyota soarer emblem" it should show up. I'm seeing some right now
Hello 👋🏼 question, your steering wheel looks awesome I have the same in my is300 what material or company did you use to get the steering wheel leather wrapped and replaced/renewed? I really like the material and fresh stitching. 🙏🏼

awesome vid - having recently inherited a '99 400 with LED lights and a mess of resistors, i'm gonna follow your advice!
Hey how did u get your taillights like.

dude you convinced me to go full LED btw, where did you get the life in technicolor beat from? I can't find it anywhere.
Hey man, I'm looking for that exact Soarer logo. That's my favourite Toyota font. Can you share with me some info to find that style?

what size double din you have in your SC
Thank you for the info. Will look into doing this to my 98 sc400 now. Keep the content coming! Cheers!
The 92 sc400's use an older type relay. There is no replacement available for the older sc400's
So it’s impossible to use Led in a 92?
So it’s impossible to use Led in a 92?
@@toenee No, its not impossible. You need to open up and modify the relay though - theres some information about it on CL
Subscribed. I hope you make it big, bro! Good content and beautiful car.
Hey Which color did you Cut the light orange one or the dark orange color one I really can’t see the cut!?!?!?
where did you get your top back window spoiler from?
My rear parking lights don't work but everything else does as in brake lights and turn signals..jw if you know what the issue could be?
where did you get that wing from
Stock 97+ wing

Nice to meet you bro
Does this work on any year sc400?
did not work in my 1991 UZZ31 sadly
Miss the content
Make more videos !!!
Your intro is a little too long, but, otherwise, good content and info.
Do you know what is inside the LED flasher relay??? Guess what.....resistors
Q

Why did you put soarer badges on your Lexus 😂😂😂
the sc300/400 /Toyota soarer are all essentially the same cars
