  • Remember the other week when Paul got on me for not installing the Ring security cameras quick enough? Well today I am showing you how to install three different cameras to upgrade the security around your home. These vary from hard wired to a simple plug in. Did I mention I installed, filmed and tested all three types of cameras in less than an hour? It’s that easy! Stay rad xx.

    Quick tip! if it rains alot where you guys live. Caulk the outside edge where the floodlight is mounted for extra protection from water. I didnt do that with some regular light fixtures on my driveway and there was a little gap and water got inside and rotted the wood.

    Are there any other camera floodlight fixtures that will sync with a ring doorbell

  • @digitalboomer
    @digitalboomer 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hints: The hard wired security lights are designed to be mounted vertically, so if your existing security lights are mounted to a sofit (aka eves) horizontally, the light/ and or camera will not angle properly. I hired an electrician to mount a vertical wiring box to my exiting horizontal using a short right angle conduit, which was not cheap. Additionally, make sure you have a good wifi signal out to the area where devices will be mounted. Write down your Wifi ID and password and keep it handy. The last software setup involves pressing a button on top of your camera and then identifying your WiFi ID and putting in your password. The reason I mention this is that your security lights are likely to be 8 - 10 feet off the ground, so getting to this button is a ladder challenge. If you screw up the setup, you will have to repeat pushing the setup button again and repeat.

    I don't know if you realize this, as I think women our age don't think about this to this extent.... But this is a true video of female empowerment. Too many women, and this may be a judgement call that's incorrect on my end, but moreso older monogamous hetero. Women, do not feel comfortable doing stuff like this. Just by you doing what you do, even if it doesn't seem like anything grand, is actually a beautiful example of female empowerment.

      Right now, it is $3 a month for one camera and $3 for each additional camera. However for $10 a month, you can ave unlimited. These fees allow you to store your videos automatically to the Cloud, otherwise you only have live streaming view available. If you get the cloud services, you can review, download or delete old videos. You get a 30 day free trial for cloud services to see how it works and to see if you like it or not. Remember the account is location based, so that monthly fee will only cover one address. If you need to setup a second location, like a vacation home, you will have to make payments separately for that additional location.
