I am sure I am not alone in appreciating the fact that you do not have ads, but more important, you do not let people use you to sell their product. Your videos are so much more pleasant to watch without all of the interruptions. THANK YOU so much!

The “black” yarn looks to be a gorgeous deep dark purple on my screen and that vibrant green is stunning with it! Perfect, witchy combination ❤

Kay, I adore your socks and yarns! The history lesson is very much appreciated. As an American whose BA degree is History, I must say I know very little about The Tudors and other British history. Very interesting. The music and scenery are outstanding! Thank you.

I've always admired your no-ad stance - it's one of the reasons I've continued watching your videos (the excellent content being the first, of course 😜). Some TH-cam videos have ads every 5 minutes and there comes a point when I just stop watching. ❤

Love the witchy socks. Your colors look amazing! (only because you were wondering...in the movie, it was black and white stripe, with the red shoes.)

I'm not sure if your brother does all the music for this series or how you get the music, but I absolutely adore it. As a musician myself, I highly appreciate the beautiful music and how it brings it all to life and pulls it together.

Hi guys…❣️ Titti from Sweden here.
Just want to say this about DPN’s or rather comments about DPN’s verses magic loop…
I really don’t understand why people need to question why… anything…??
DPN’s according to me is the best❣️, and when it comes to my oldest daughter she’s totally in to magic loop.
There’s no right or wrong way to do which needles to use … just what’s best for the user.
My problem is rather the person that question my decision.
For me that is lack of respect actually.
Big THANKS for all your work with this channel
    Love it ❤

Dan thank you so much for the history narrative of Henry VIII and your walk through Yorkshire, very interesting, I have read a lot about the Plantagenet, Richard the Lionheart, The War of the Roses, Henry VII and Henry VIII, but always learn something new on listening to Historians.

Hello Kay, I want to thank you for mentioning the books you have enjoyed. Because of you, I am now a great fan of Roseamunde Pilcher. I lived Winter Solstice and Coming Home. I really like that you have mentioned books you are reading/listening. Enjoy your day, Kim

Thank you for another fabulous episode Dan and Kay. After listening to your book review of One For The Blackbird One For The Crow, I spent one of my audible credits and am loving it Kay!!🙂. I rarely listen to fiction, but this is such a special book. Reminds me a little of To Kill a Mockingbird. I can't wait to visit all the places you have had us exploring with you over the years Dan. My holiday to the UK planning has plenty of 'want to go' tags in G Maps. Oh and of course I love all the knitting . 😉 Gwen - FNQ Aus.

Kay I have to tell you I bought the book One for the Blackbird, One for the Crow and I couldn’t put it down! Thank you for the great review! I live in Montana and much of it is still like what the book describes about Wyoming. Rugged and vast. Keep suggesting them.

Hello from the deep woods and lakes of the northern USA. The castle nation is a quite intriguing series. So much to ponder. You do such an excellent job of describing the sad life of King H with a realistic view. I appreciate your stance on honesty and integrity. Love those very beautiful socks too! Thank you so very much.

Dan, Mark and I throughly enjoyed the last two episodes of your current series, we visited Helmsley Castle several years ago, but your perspective and research gave us a new appreciation of what we saw and the history that occurred in that area. Thank you!
Kay, we were in Durham and York over Easter so I was delayed watching your book episode. It was enlightening, we live in Wyoming and I’m picking up the audio for the book tomorrow. Can’t wait to delve into that story.

It’s so hard to use or get a good black dye. I tried recently and the black looked good in the pot but ended up purple when dried ha ha. Love the green and black for Briony’s sock.
