Yeah, their men’s soccer beat UCLA and #1 UCF, tied Kentucky, S Car, WV, and Virginia. Their women’s soccer beat the top ranked team in their conference then tied #13 Georgetown and Maryland. Women are in the NCAA tourney

Congrats to James Madison. They absolutely earned the W. A lot of these teams haven't learned that the school names across their jersey don't mean jack. Just because someone plays at Southwest Dixie Tech doesn't mean that they don't play hard or lack heart. They practice just as hard and their coaches push them just as much.
Just another case of being too overconfident. MSU is a great team, but they must of been too overconfident. Like purdue, for example. Too overconfident and lost to fdu. Great team, but too overconfident.

I went to MSU... but LMAO.
JMU played really well. I think they're going to be quite dangerous if they make it to the tournament this year. Massive upset, but it looked like James Madison was the better team today; really impressed by how they stayed in it after getting into heavy foul trouble early. Michigan State didn't play great, but I still think they'll be quite good this year.

A bad year for Michigan State University. Currently there are talks about removing their national accrediation. Then they have the football coach incident, the board ordeal, another president got fired over ethical concerns, the football team's record is terrible this year, mass campus shooting, and the list goes on and on.

I remember back in like 2006 watching James Madison lose to Longwood in person at Farmville, Virginia. Nice to see James Madison do well in both football and men's basketball.

It’s a good year to be in the athletic department at JMU.
It'll be okay, Sparty. Every major program has embarrassing home losses from time to time. Remember what happened a few years ago when Stephen F. Austin knocked off Duke in Cameron Indoor Stadium? My Jayhawks have messed the bed at home a time or two in Bill Self's early years at KU; we lost to the likes of Richmond, Nevada, and Oral Roberts in his first four seasons in Lawrence.

Michigan State is so overrated, I can’t figure out how anyone thought they were the 4th best team in the country. They’re probably not even a top 4 team in the Big Ten. Good for JMU though, they should have a good chance to win the Sun Belt
The last time they went in the tournament was 2013 and last tournament win in 1983. Maybe this could be a win that fuels them the rest of the season.
