The sense of entitlement in this interview is bewildering
As awkward as Clare were and the controversies that followed them, at least they won All Irelands and played some awesome hurling. The Limerick team of that era lost two All Irelands fair and square. They simply weren't good enough. But the arrogance, even to this very day, of that entire Limerick set up for the 1990's (players, fans, management) was impossible to comprehend. Limerick always got a fare shake in interviews. In fact, they got a huge amount of airtime. But this idea they were mistreated or victims of favouritism - Delusional in the extreme. Thinking back, their attitude sucked. Talk about ungrateful to everybody. In contrast, the current Limerick era are likeable on and off the pitch, plus they have trophies.
well u could say the were the better team in 1994, wexford did beat them fairly in 1996 but it was a game they expect to win it.
Easy now, clare carry on like they will win all irelands every year. Limerick were always winning munsters every decade. Clare have won nothing since 2013. Clare were always jealous of limerick
@@1477wales4 A hurling match lasts 70 minutes plus added time. Offaly absolutely destroyed them in the last 10 minutes. That was one of the finest displays I ever saw.
@@jericho9653 I am talking exclusively about that 1990's era. Clare rubbed a lot of people up the wrong way. There's no doubt about that and I agree they suddenly had an issue with everybody, but they were worthy champions at the time too.
@@JSL2000 limerick were the better team for 70 minutes
