He's absolutely right about how important it is for players to carry themselves well off the pitch. A few years ago, I worked at a hotel that often got visiting rugby sides for internationals and Pro-14. Without a doubt, every single team without exception were gracious, thankful, and a pleasure to have around the place.
Could listen to this man all day. As a legend of hurling he knows the game inside out but the psychological angle hes now qualified in gives him unique insight on not only GAA but life in general.
Fair play to Ciarán Carey, it's great to see someone who has had to confront demons in their own life using their experience to positive effect. He reminds me of Nicky Rackard in that sense.
Don't know if Nicky rackard ever got on top of his demons,but I could be wrong

He was a Great player and knows the game very well, seems a nice down to earth guy too. Best of luck to Limerick Today from a Dub, they are setting the standards for hurling today.
