Give James Skehill his own show. He's the best analyst in the country
Reason Skehill is so good is he is only recently out of inter county hurling and could sugar coat some things but he doesn’t
The performance by Limerick was matched only by Skehill's analysis of it. Top class
Skehill's prematch analysis had Cork having every chance of dethroning the Treatymen! Hindsight is a wonderful asset.

@@RoyalTribesman I dont understand why every pundit had it as a close enough encounter with Limerick shading it. The bookies had Cork as 5 to 1 outsiders which was suggestive of the actual result. Maybe alot of these analysts privately envisaged an annihilation but had too many friends from Cork to be upsetting them! They have the players,and ther is no egos,from top to bottom,most down to earth people I've ever heard and seen, unlike other counties where there H is up there H,again brilliant analysis.
Easily one of the best analysts around always enlightening and original compared to the Sunday gems like Ursula Jacob and Anna Geary who are on record for using every GAA cliche imaginable. Add in Jackie Tyrell, Dalo lads who add no significant insight like Skehill

He's a brilliant analyst, but give credit to the two presenters who give him the platform. I think its unfair to be overly critical of the sunday game analysts when they have Joanne Cantwell and Des' oh we can't be discussing that'Cahill. I always look forward to see whatTyrell and Nicky English have to say in the Times, they're informative and usually get it right.

I notice one thing, they love the short hand pass or the thrown pass, and they always get away with over carrying the ball...Cork were hopeless...but Limerick will take some beating, but they will be beaten, just like KK were, and the Dubs were...they could win 2 or 3 more All Irelands, before they are done...
Yes everyone gets beaten its destiny but we were losing long enough so we will enjoy these wins while we can and we should now be hated or knocked for that.
You clearly don't understand the mentality in limerick. We have developed teams that compete in the business end of the AI on merit. If we lose we regroup and go again.

Half of it was correct. Technically 2 time All-Ireland Winner. Under 21 in 2007 and Senior in 2017.

@@adrianmarrinan7707 Good point, Like Ger Gilroy. No mention of Cork, nothing about where it went so badly wrong. Cadogan had a shocker, is 35 next month. Ger Mellerick was a big loss. No mention of Cork's All Ireland Under 20 wins. 2 in a row. Or did I miss it? Several promising players from those teams. He only referenced Tipp's under 20s from 2019.
@@raparee100 Just a small point, Limerick took Cork to extra time in 2019 and were only beaten by a point in '20 at Under 20 level. we had similar close wins in Under 21 in the 3 in a row 2002 to 2002 team and got nowhere after.
Who said tipperary u20 all ireland team are they trying to say tipp won u20 all ireland and then have the cheek to say that they could take on limerick first place tipp u20 did not even make it to the final so get you fact right cork won the u20

@@sc1837 Limerick on another level, or maybe even several levels above the rest. So, the question is, what are they doing different than the other counties? It’s not that the rest of the country don’t have excellent hurlers, they do. Again, never injured. How is that? You telling me, they train at an easy pace, to prevent injuries. They train just as hard as they play, and I bet you longer than the 70. The panel, freaks, explosive runners than can last at that intensity. GAA have a laughable testing protocol. To see the vascularity on TV, shows at least 4% or less body fat. Cheat or be cheated. Who said that. Well done Limerick. Keep doing what your doing, as there is no one currently even near your level. As for the rest of the country, you better change your training protocol to be even within a shout next year.

They wouldnt last 7 minutes on the pitch at that bodyfat..all those limerick boys are anywhere from 10 to 14 % which is the healthy range.. regards lack of injury.. they went back training in march april, most teams were slogging from January.. they build a serious strength base which will help you avoid injury.. I bet they dont do a whole pile of straight line running, whatever conditioning drills Kinnerk has work a wonder for their conditioning

Glad James Skehill is not managing Limerick. If he’s leaving The ball hit the ground around his own half back line and packing a defence in side. If you put players back a team like Limerick will just pick points off from out the field at ease. Creating a ruck Is the worst thing you can do against Limerick, they are must too physical. Corks plan was to play around Limerick Fail Fail Fail. If you want to beat Limerick run at them not around them. Cork were useless because all their energy went into curtailing Limerick instead of playing their own game and run at Limerick with high intensity

There was one hand pass for Limericks first goal- there was seven hand passes in the build up to Kingston's goal- at least three of them dubious-- no more needs to be said.
