got the code last night! Here is my review as a Corel Aftershot Pro 2 user who had given up on Corel for lack of polish on the Mac version (I gave feedback to them for many months but never saw anything fixed).. I hoped the AS3 version would impress me but alas: Seems most of the annoying bugs in ASP2 are still present in this latest version. Try zooming with trackpad and you'll see what I mean. Also, try scrolling the thumbnail bar when you have an image open with 2 fingers on trackpad.. all my Mac Photo editing apps allow a natural variable speed increase and decrease behaviour to scrolling photo thumbnails.. not possible in Corel AS3. In all honesty, it seems AS3 has so much potential to become the best Photo editing app on Mac but it is just not understanding what a Mac Photo editing app needs to be.. it is essentially a port of the PC version and that is the reason I cannot recommend it to any Mac user. I loved the speed of importing it provided (same as ASP2) but that alone cannot be a reason to purchase... I will stick to using DxO Optics Pro instead which provide a better UI, great end results, lens correction, awesome RAW decoding and smooth polish for the Mac platform. I would like to thank Corel and JCristina for the code.. I will keep the app on my Mac and monitor Corel AS3 updates to test each one out in hopes to see a true Mac focused overhaul..

I understand the UI and the way it worked or more or less didn't work for you, ie. acceleration and natural figure swipes on the MAC were an issue. Being a past AfterShot 2 users, can I ask, how was Color Correction, Blemish Removal, Exporting Speeds, Etc. in comparison? Thanks again.
Import and export speeds were great in ASP 2 and still are fast in AS3.. Big reason I first took the plunge... I have not used Blemish removal much.. the Perfectly Clear feature was something that I liked using.. 1 thing I really dread in AS since version 2 is the lack of plugin development.. many plugins on Corel's site cannot be used by AS3 or ASP2. I went into Corel's software thinking that plugins would be the core appeal but it seems that developers of said plugins were not so inclined... I applaud many of the devs who made their plugins available to ASP2 after Corel changed the internal coding that essentially broke all plugins sometime last year.. I feel Corel should have taken more interest in plugins. to be noted that all my complaints with ASP 2 had been conveyed to Corel support team on facebook and Forums but were mostly met with the usual PR responses that we will send these concerns to dev team. Hope to see Corel After Shot grow into the best Lightroom alternative but for now, it has ways to go IMHO.
I do not use Lightroom at all.. my workflow consists of a referenced photo library called RAW Library inside Photos app for Mac (seems to be the fastest browsing experience for huge photo libraries).. when I want to edit a certain RAW photo or group of photos, I just export them in a folder on desktop and drag that folder inside DxO Optics Pro... Then I can work my digital darkroom magic and export all my edits as 16bit TIFF files for safe keeping... I import those edited Tiffs back to Photos app in another referenced Library called TIFF Library. If Photos app would allow Tiff round tripping of RAW edits done in the many Photos extensions available, I would solely use Photos app.. Alas, for now, it defaults to JPEG round tripping. I was an avid Aperture user and hope Apple will one day refocus efforts on making Photos app more Pro centric.

I believe it's Watermarking, Catalogs and some advanced Editing Features. I use the Pro version but think for most basic editing AfterShot 3 would be more than sufficient. Hope that helps Doug. Thanks for the question.
The interface is different so to get from point A to point B may be slightly different from Lightroom but the results are same. I do like AfterShot Highlight Recovery slightly better and export speed with AfterShot is much faster but all in all the results are the same in my opinion.
I followed link and entered email 2 days ago.. it said ont he site that it will take 10 days to get my code.. is that the correct ETA? Can anyone confirm how long it took? I have not received any confirmation email from Corel stating that they have acknowledged my order.

You don't mention the quality of the results. Are they the same as Lightroom? Better? Worse?
