Besides Corel's website, is there anywhere to buy presets for Aftershot? There are so many for Lightroom and Photoshop but I can't seem to find any 3rd party presets for Aftershot.

Thanks for this tutorial but is there a way to convert lightroom or photoshop presets to aftershot?

I was wondering the same thing. When photography magazines give away presets or photographers sell disks of presets they always seem to be Lightroom/Photoshop format, I'd like to be able to use them in Aftershot.
I've done some Googling to see if anyone has done this and run into a lot of forum posts asking that question. So far no-one has managed it. On the surface, it should nt be too hard. XMP is an XML (eXtensible Markup Language) format and a design feature of XML is that you can load it into memory on a computer, parse it then output it to a different XML format. From the posts I've seen, the problem seems to be that the Adobe implementation of XMP (XML only defines the structure of the data, not what the data elements actually mean, the individual schema defines that) isn't documented outside of Adobe and is obfuscated. You can view the XML in any text editor but without the schema, you won't know what it means.
A potential problem with this is, say in 20 years you find a bunch of raw images on an old USB stick with the corresponding Lightroom XMP files. Adobe have by this time stopped making Lightroom or changed their XMP schema (or even gone out of business) so whilst you could probably open the original raw files (the camera manufacturers will have published the format specification so software manufacturers can support it) all those edits will be lost. This is the sort of problem that XML was developed (in part) to combat.

Thanks for the tutorial! I was just trying to batch export using multiple (corel) presets but the software only applies one. So, need to create a custom preset which you've made easy here :)
