Songwriter maybe, okay yes, not musician. He’s an average musician and he’d say the same, but when a man writes unofficial national anthems (don’t look back) you have to give him the nod in the last 30
Greatest plagiarist more like. He's never written an original song in his life. Everything is copied from elsewhere. If you were into music you'd hear it in every tune he or Oasis have ever released..
@@rayenbow3281oh yeah sure ! Because people like Johnny Marr, Paul Weller, McCartney (... Etc.. Etc...) they all know nothing about music, so they think he's good. But they're wrong obviously, because you know better. How pretentious are you ???? 😂 Also to respond to other comments being a songwriter is being a musician... If you write music you play it, and it's even more difficult to write... This doesn't even make sense... A singer is a musician too, his voice his an instrument... That's really a weird debate ^^
Have a look at the track listing for What’s the Story just as a reminder to see just how good Noel was at his songwriting peak. It’s just classic after classic. You go down the list and it’s just stunning how good the tunes are.
Yep. His so called 'purple patch' is brilliant. To borrow a boxing/combat sports phrase pound 4 pound it's definitely up there. Impossible to ignore if you're unbiased and genuine. 💯
It's a great album covering the past 10 years of being a solo artist...just shows what a legend you are creatively Noel!!! Zak Starkey is a great drummer....
I love high flying birds! From the US, I was so excited to hear oasis on the charts with shock of the lightning here! It was their first time on the charts here since “Be Here Now” and of course it just happened to be on their last album together…
The Coral are great, and they explore their sounds in each of their albums although keeping their typical retro-ish feel, can see why Noel's into them.
Liam was a talented front man. That's not an easy job for anyone. The fact you had a brother to help out with your songs is pretty rare for a songsmith
Good lineup for Noels fantasy band. Not taking anything away from Zak but I’d have gone for Reni from the Stone Roses😎 Noel, you’re a credit and an institution to this nation, inspiring many - all the best mate👍
Surprised to hear Noel is a fan of The Coral, my respect for him grows every interview He's right, should've added Sail On!! Quote: I lost my leather jacket today, it's f*cking freaking me out
Well, you've been nominated for a Grammy in America, & you've had a #2 album (Be Here Now), plus you've sold out Madison Square Garden in NYC, The Hollywood Bowl in LA, EagleBank Arena in D.C, Credit Union 1 Arena in Chicago, Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside of Denver, The Ryman Auditorium (the church of country music) in Nashville, so it ain't exactly like you didn't make it in America or anything, man. We love ya, Chief💯🇺🇲
My question would be have you ever considered using synthesizers and some of the electronic music toys for creative inspriation ? it would be funny to see you do a dawless house / techno jam on a modular setup or some korg volcas.
The question I really wanted to know, is that in an interview Noel mentioned that he had been listening to The Beach Boys, and despite not giving them the time of day until now, I’m really curious as to what song or album Noel was listening too because it always surprises me that considering Noel likes The Beatles, that he hasn’t listened to The Beach Boys
Hell, I can't even remember the last time I could be bothered to listen to any Oasis, but his solo work has been a mainstay for me, especially WBTM and the EP Trilogy.
My question tho is where are like the stupid pointless qs and the spam from all his stans on tiktok it was 95% of the questions😭 hoping to see more of those in part 2
I’d love to hear some new questions. ‘Noel, did you hear the last Fleet foxes album Shore? Do you like them’ ‘Have you heard Bob Dylans last thoughts on Woody Guthrie, did it provoke anything in you?’ ‘Eddie Vedders into the wild soundtrack is phenomenal, would you ever do a film soundtrack’ Just something different, it’s the same every interview.
I would love for you to have a #1 album in America also! It’s possible but you know what you gotta do…. I’m not talking about Oasis. You have to go old school and tell everyone why you’re the best. Get hungry again and it’s yours.
He looks well and happy. Glad for Noel, he gets such a hard time from his brothers silly fans.

hmmm
There’s a reason why we call Noel The Chief!!
Because he used to live in a wigwam
hi fakest radio
@@epictom3423 hi 👋
Noel, I agree with you: Alone on the Rope not being on this album is a crime!
Was hoping it would be on the bonus disc.
That supergroup he came up with would be INSANE.
Pardon me, it would be BIBLICAL
Put James brown to front that group and it would be. Tho, I would take zac starkeys old man before junior.
Noel Gallagher is the best at answering questions!
🙄
@@BillionaireHustleMindset 🪦 rip
Noel you’re a genius!
I'm better
Really excited for Who Built The Moon 2
Still on his escence: no doubt about lyrics and composition when he mentions Bowie, Weller and Marr
Everybody's on the Run is my all time favorite song, its such a masterpiece in my mind
Legend
Part 1? Please have like ten parts! Noel Gallagher is so great!
When he was about to name the guitarist of his dream band, I said "Johnny Marr" even before him😂😂😂 I can READ you Noel!
Yeah me too, I was like "Johnny Marr dude, dyou even have to think about it?!"
I like how he wanted McCartney on bass and Ringo's son on drums
@@vinceeager8553 yeah ringos sun just cos he related. And Ringo himself is a shut drummer

Noel, still gorgeous...inside and out! Loving the new stuff, keep it coming. Much love from the US 💖💖
As a teen fan I love this man with all my heart

I could watch and listen to Noel all day, he’s been there done it and come across as an real ok dude.
A band with Noel, McCartney, Weller, Marr & Zak Starkey.. well, one can dream

Noel is true artist
Where the heck was "We're gonna get there in the end" on he back the way we came album. It's one of his best
his first and second solo albuns still are my fav ones
The coral oasis,s right hand man
Love the fact he loves The Coral!
Such a random answer, respect tho
The Coral are great, and they explore their sounds in each of their albums although keeping their typical retro-ish feel, can see why Noel's into them.
This is a bloody brilliant album “ what a life “ is probably the best song his written in years , the whole album is fantastic
Noel is so amazing!!!
The lines on Noel's face are so real Liam's gna snort them
The Master Of Song
Liam was a talented front man. That's not an easy job for anyone. The fact you had a brother to help out with your songs is pretty rare for a songsmith
Would have been just as good with noel singing
Such a talented man
Brilliant song writer and a great speaker, talks a lot of sense !
Flying on the ground is a fuckin great song. And I love that string section.
I love You Noel..i love you liam
Sail on and alone on the rope definitely top ten HFB’s tunes

The Coral opened many Oasis concerts, back in the days
You made my day 😇🫣🫣love you unbelievable ❤️🙏

Betting Liam knows something about that missing leather jacket 🤣
Fav singer left unqualified. We all know :))

Wow, I'd love to see that band he described. Was hoping he'd say Zak Starkey for drummer. Heaven is a place where I'd sing with that band.
"Stop the Clocks" and " I Wanna Live Dream" should have been on this record.
兄貴 is great!
NOEL ❤❤
I agree ! Zak Starkey on drums ! Weller on keyboards 🎹 , Noel Rhythm guitar 🎸, McCartney on Bass , take turns on vocals 🎤

Glad he mentioned 'Alone on the Rope' once again Noel making B sides that are better than some of his singles!
I love how he demonstrates his love for paul mccartney
They're great loades of load noise but a good agarant singer's as well that's what made it balanced

06:33 do we have to have a singer? Little dig to Liam here! You know that voice is something else ;)
I knew he was going to say Johnny Marr for lead guitar in his dream lineup😂

True
The Coral?
I think Sail On is better than half the songs on the Album and should have been included on it
@Holly you must listen to it often then
Noel diciendo que bowie fue una de sus mas grandes influencias😭😭😭😭
Love Noel's solo stuff. Completely reinvigorated my love for his work, including Oasis.
I'd even say NGHFB music > Oasis music post 1997.
🤔
Depends on the album, better Liam Gallagher solo and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds are much more consistent than some of the later Oasis albums.
Hell, I can't even remember the last time I could be bothered to listen to any Oasis, but his solo work has been a mainstay for me, especially WBTM and the EP Trilogy.
Funny that his dream band more or less happened! The Smokin' Mojo Filters reunion needs to happen!

You Know We Can’t Go Back should have been on the album.
While the song remains the same should be on there....one of his best tunes.....
I buzzed off that track for months when that album came out
The most liked question on tiktok was "poo reveal?" xD
I want to know if he will ever release the amorphous androgenous album, there is no way he's destroyed it.
mmm
It was just unusable, it’ll exist somewhere. It Just didn’t work. Think he covers that in the last issue of Mojo.
