Killer job on all the build series. Never realized how how much work really goes into making a series until I started my own. Just a thought with out a light rail, I've run without light rails and man do they find a way to snag on every single thing possible.
I just built a deck for my flounder gigging boat. I used aluminum scaffold planks (7ftx19"). They are perfect for this application since they are designed to be load-bearing, they do not need any support in the middle, and they're not heavy. It's your decking and support structure all in one.
I would not recommend going to a stainless prop as it will transfer the shock of hitting something to the drive line. Aluminum props are made to take damage.
I look forward to watching your construction videos. I wondered how much that deck weighed. You built it tough but with tough comes weight :) Good luck
Yes it is! Hang in there and thanks for keeping us updated. Few people will post what "doesn't" turn out as expected. I appreciate your doing so. You help a lot of people!@@catmanDIYoutdoors

Really good lighting
Curious what you have planned, always looking for good ideas.
That weight up front can make for a real scary ride in real rough chop or in the wake of a barge.
I like the update
I would get Firewire lights. Check them out.
Thanks for the update

Can't wait to see the build after you extended the deck out are you going back with light rails or you mounting them to the gunnels
BOAT is not a word. It’s an acronym Break out another thousand. I know all too well. I live on a river and I have 6 of them. 😢😢😢
I’d buy the deck if I had a boat 😂
A boat is a hole in the water surrounded by aluminum into which you are constantly pouring in work, time, money……
Yep and it’s worth it!
